Scene 22

(Open scene in the school hallway with Ashlynn, Fin, and Rita)

(Enter Xsandra and Athena) 

(While walking through the halls when people see Fin they tense up and start whispering to each other)

Xsandra: Why is everyone looking at us? There's nothing noteworthy over here.

Athena: *starts to rock back and forth on feet* 

Rita: Can't people just mind their own business anymore?

Ashlynn: Well, Fin was charged with murder and all.

Rita: I guess that's fair.

Xsandra: Fair?! That bastard killed a guy.

(Two girls see Fin and start to quickly move away)

Fin: *notices the girls* People don't actually think I did it do they?

Rita: You didn't do it and that is all that matters.

Xsandra: That isn't exactly correct.

(Enter Gena)

Gena: *walks up to Fin* Is it true?

Fin: What? Is what true?

Gena: You killing my boyfriend and throwing Jackson in jail.

Fin: I didn't kill Jazz.

Gena: Murder evidence says otherwise.

Fin: I did nothing of the sort!

Gena: Oh come on, Fin. You're a smart guy. It doesn't seem unlikely that you'd put that brain to use for something...What's the word?... A little...unproductive.

Rita: Hey! Leave my friend alone! That judge ruled innocent and that's what's final! It's not a time for you and your fake ass skanky dress to play detective and interrogate Fin. 

Gena: First off, OJ ruled innocent too, didn't he? Second off, it's Louis Vuitton, not Chanel you swine.

Xsandra: I can't believe that she couldn't tell the difference between Louis Vuitton and Chanel. This is really what we're choosing as friends now? This is what we're socializing with?

Rita: There is a video of Jazz attacking Fin. Are you actually that stupid and ignorant?!

Athena: *puts fingers in ears to block out sounds; continues rocking back and forth*

Gena: Whatever! *face to face with Fin* Everyone knows you did it. You're a fucking sadist.

Rita: Fuck off. Did daddy buy you a dictionary of big words to use if you want to look like a stuck up prick?

Gena: *while walking away she flips the bird to Rita*

(Exit Gena)

Rita: Bitch walks around as if she owns the place.

Fin: People do really think that I killed Jazz.

Xsandra: Well, you did do it.

Ashlynn: Only bubble headed idiots think that.  

Fin: Those "bubble headed idiots" spread rumors like wildfire.

Rita: So what? You didn't kill Jazz and you know it. I know it. Ash knows it. Everyone who is worthwhile knows it. So stop wasting your time on what those morons think.

(Enter Marley)

Marley: *walks towards Fin; Sees Fin; Avoids eye contact; starts to quickly walk away*
