Lynn: Why did you want that?
Ashlynn: I don't know.
Lynn: You never brought it up before.
Ashlynn: Because I thought I would be a bother.
Lynn: You would never be a bother, Ash.

Lynn: At least you're better now. I'm so happy that those meds worked. I asked your father to get more for when you go to his house. I already picked some up.
Ashlynn: Thanks, mum.
Lynn: I'm a mom, Ash. It's what I do.
(Enter Nurse Joy)
Nurse Joy: *enthusiastic/friendly* Hello, hello, hello. So, Ashlynn, you're getting discharged today. How are you feeling about it?
Ashlynn: It's okay.
Nurse Joy: You're not excited?
Ashlynn: *hiding true emotions* Oh, I'm Ethstatic!
Nurse Joy: Great! I just need you and your mother to sign these sheets and then you'll be up and out of here. *hands Ashlynn a clipboard and pen*
Ashlynn: *signs sheet and hands clipboard to Lynn*
Lynn: *signs sheet and hands clipboard and pen back to Nurse Joy*
Nurse Joy: Amazing, give me a couple minutes to run this through the system and we'll get you out of here in a jiffy.
Lynn: Thank you.
Nurse Joy: No problem.
(Exit Nurse Joy)
Lynn: Why didn't you ever tell me about this, Ashlynn?
Ashlynn: I thought it would freak you out. I thought I was crazy.
Lynn: You are not crazy
(Knock on the door)
Lynn: Come in!
(Enter Fin and Alessya)
Lynn: I'll go for a walk. You talk, Ash.
Ashlynn: Okay, Mum.
(Exit Lynn)
Ashlynn: Hey, guys.
Alessya: This was the last place I think I'd find you when I'd get back in.
Ashlynn: Sorry
Alessya: There's nothing for you to be sorry about.
(Fin steps forward with a small teddy bear)
Fin: I know you're getting discharged today and I'm super late, but I wanted to give you this. *gives a teddy bear to Ashlynn*
Ashlynn: *holds the bear* Aww, thank you so much, Fin. This is so sweet.
Fin: It's no problem.
Alessya: We were wondering if you want to go out for lunch?
Ashlynn: Bowie already invited me out to Crab Trap. Would you like to come? He should be here soon.
Fin: That okay with you?
Ashlynn: Absolutely, I've missed you guys so much.
Alessya: We'd love to.
