Evelyn sighed and moved on to do a different classes assignment. She honestly was no good at Herbology and never will be. Evelyn pulled out her Transfiguration essay and began to write about the main 4 different transformations as human can be.

-A Metamorphagus

-A Animagus

-Botamagus

-Werewolf

Sure there were many more, but these are the more common ones. Evelyn was very satisfied at how easy this was coming. Unlike stupid Herbology. Who needs Herbology? Evelyn thought.

"He's looking at you." Queenie teased. Evelyn looked up from her work and glanced to where Tom and his friends were sitting. Sure enough he was staring at her. Evelyn's cheeks burned and she quickly looked back down to her work. Queenie giggled.

"Does someone have a crush on the most mysterious boy in school?" Queenie asked. Evelyn's cheeks grew redder.

"Stop it! He's looking!" Evelyn hushed in a worried tone. Evelyn was feeling very hot suddenly, even though it was a very cool Autumn day. She loosened her scarf and began to write faster.

"Oh you do like him! A lot I can see." Queenie said. She stood up and walked over to Tom and bent down to whisper something in his ear. Evelyn hid in her scarf while that happened. Queenie came back with a very satisfied smile.

"What did you say!" Evelyn squeaked from her scarf.

"Told him to get a move on." Queenie said.

"What??" She gasped.

"Oh stop being a baby, and grow up. It's not some silly school girl crush. It's time to stop being afraid. Get over there and say something to him!" Queenie said pulling her friend over to the group of boys. The former Hufflepuff was internally panicking. She looked at Tom and began to speak.

"D-do you... me want... er.. um... you..."

"Would you like to accompany me to Hogsmeade this upcoming weekend." Tom asked. Evelyn blinked.

"Uh... sure... I mean yes. Yes, I would like to go with you." Evelyn said.

"Alright. I cannot wait." Tom said smiling. He stood up and walked back inside the castle.

"Little Evie's got a date!" Avery gushed.

"Shut up!" She hissed.

"You have to tell me if you kiss." Queenie cooed. Evelyn quickly gathered her things and sped into the castle. I have a date! I have a date! Never in my life has a boy asked me on a date! Evelyn was so happy she felt like flying!

Evelyn stood at the carriage stop and pulled her jacket closer. She was wearing the black outfit that she had bought in Diagon Alley. (A/N: Sixth Year Chapter Pic) The cold breeze nipped at her cheeks as she waited. She felt an arm snake through her arm and link with her. She looked to see Tom, he was dressed in a long coat with a dark green Slytherin scarf. His black hair wavy.

"You ready?" He asked.

"Yes, shall we go?" Evelyn asked. Tom nodded and they walked into Hogsmeade together.

"Where do you want to go first? I was thinking we could go window shopping, then end with a mug of Butterbeer. I've heard it's quite delicious." Tom said. Evelyn gasped at him.

"You've never had Butterbeer?" She asked.

"I never had the right person to go with." Tom said. Butterflies danced in Evelyn's stomach as the continued walking.

"Oh look at that place!" Evelyn pointed.

"It looks like their building a parchment supply store." Tom noticed.

"Finally. It's driving my parents mad having to go to Diagon Alley for Parchment all the time." Evelyn said.

"I bet they go there a lot. Your to good of a student. Taking all those notes in class." Tom said.

"Did you just make a joke." Evelyn questioned.

"No." Tom said with a straight face.

"You did!" Evelyn claimed.

"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't, I'll never confess." Tom said smirking. Evelyn had never seen this side of him before. She liked it! He let down his guard and he was fun. Not just some mysterious boy. Not a feared older student that owned the school. He was just Tom.

Evelyn pulled Tom into a clearing and pulled out her wand.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

Evelyn conjured two piles of snow. She formed a snowball in her hand and threw it at Tom. It hit his jacket and it burst apart.

"Snowball fight! Since it's only the beginning of October and winter is forever away, let's just make our own!" Evelyn said. Tom smirked.

"Your on!" He said making his own snowballs.

At the end of the snowball fight, both of them were soaked and cold. But both were laughing.

"I think it's time for Butterbeer. What do you say?" Tom asked.

"Of course!" Evelyn said. The two held hands and walked to the new pub called The Three Broomsticks. Their arms swaying as they walked in. "Ah What Can I get you two lovebirds." A witch said cleaning a table.

"Two Butterbeers please." Tom said.

"Alright, take a seat, I'll bring them over in a minute." She said walking away. Tom pulled a chair out for Evelyn and she sat down. He pushed it back in and sat in his own seat.

The witch came back over and set down two mugs of Butterbeer.

"Here you go, enjoy!" The witch said.

"Thank you."

"Thanks."

The two sat in silence and drank their drinks. Tom broke the silence.

"You were a lot different today than you usually are. Not that it's a bad thing. It's just your usually more shy and quiet." Tom said.

"Oh... yeah. I am." Evelyn said.

"I like this side of you. And your quiet side." Tom said. Evelyn looked at him and smiled.

"Your different too. Your a lot more outgoing." Evelyn said. Tom laughed.

"Yeah. I feel like I have to be that way to command respect." Tom admitted.

"I like both sides of you too." She said. Tom gave her a smile of thanks.

"This might sound weird. But I like you Evelyn. A lot. It sounds weird coming from me, but you make me happy." Tom said. Evelyn didn't know what to say.

"I don't know what it is about you Tom Riddle. But I like you too." Evelyn said.
