Evelyn had now been in the past for about a month. She was growing comfortable and was letting out her real side. She was kind, yet firm. She still kept up with the makeup and curled hair.

Evelyn tucked the letter in her bag and headed to Transfiguration. Professor Dumbledore taught the subject. After class she would ask to speak with him in private. If anyone overheard them, the future could be in even more devastation. Tom has become a really good friend, which is really really weird to think. In about 40 years, everything will change if Evelyn doesn't stop him.

After Transfiguration ended Evelyn made her way up to the front. Where Professor Dumbledore was reading papers.

"Ev, are you coming?" Avery called. Evelyn looked back to Tom, Avery, and Lestrange.

"No I'll catch up with you later, I have to Professor Dumbledore about the homework." Evelyn said.

"Actually, I'll stay, I need help with it too." Lestrange said. Dang it! I will have to give it to Dumbledore later.

"Ok, come on." Evelyn said. Tom and Avery left, and Lestrange and I walked up to the professor. He looked up at us through his glasses.

"Ah Miss Montmorency and Mr. Lestrange, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Dumbledore asked.

"I had a question about the homework. I was wondering what the hand motion of the spell that turns solid objects into liquid. I couldn't quite understand it." Evelyn lied.

"Ah yes, you twist your wand like so..." Dumbledore said motioning with his wand.

"Thank you so much!" Evelyn said. The pair turned and headed out of the classroom. Evelyn was a bit angry that she couldn't give him the letter. When could Evelyn give it to him? After dinner? Yes!

Evelyn and Lestrange walked into the common room and found Tom and Avery on the sofa.

"Hello Tom!" Evelyn said sitting down next to him.

"Hello Evelyn." He said smiling a bit.

"Did you guys hear what that stupid fifth year Hufflepuff did?" Avery asked grinning.

"No, do tell." Evelyn said with a fake smirk on her face. Is this how Harry felt when he and Ron used Polyjuice potion in second year to trick Draco Malfoy? All fake and lying?

"Well, he was walking down the stairs and happened to walk past me so I tripped him with a jinx. He fell down the stairs and had dropped the potion he was carrying all over himself. Sprouted a tail and ears!" Avery said laughing. Lestrange was basically rolling on the floor laughing so hard. Tom merely chuckled. Evelyn smirked again. To everyone else, she was someone else. To herself, she was Evelyn.

"Shall we go to dinner?" Evelyn asked.

"Yeah, that sounds good." Avery said. The four of them stood up and left the common room.

Dinner was great and soon everyone was leaving to their common rooms. Evelyn snuck away from the boys and made her way to Dumbledore.

"Hello again Miss Montmorency." He said smiling.

"Sir, I need to speak with you. Alone. In private." Evelyn said. Dumbledore looked at her,

"Is something wrong?" He asked.

"This is important. I need to speak with you alone. Only you can know." Evelyn said looking around to see if anyone had heard her.

"I see. Come to my office with me." Dumbledore said.

The two walked into Dumbledore's office and Evelyn wasn't surprised that it was cluttered like his office in the future.

"Silencio." Dumbledore said with a wave of his wand. Evelyn pulled the letter out of her robe pocket.

"Here." She said with a frown on her face. Dumbledore took it carefully like it would explode at any given point. He read the letter once he opened it and his face expressions became worse. He looked back up to Evelyn with a grim expression.

"This is terrible. Tom Riddle, mass murderer and dark sorcerer. Your mission is clearly important to the fate of the world." Dumbledore said. Evelyn nodded.

"I promise to help you whenever you need it, understand?" Dumbledore said. Evelyn nodded.

"Thank you sir." Evelyn said.

"Good luck." Dumbledore said. Evelyn nodded and closed the door to his office. The only sound in the halls where the soft click clack of her heels as she walked back to the Slytherin Common Room alone. Although, she wasn't feeling as alone anymore.
