Evelyn wasn't liking all the attention she was getting from the other students. Whispers and stares as she passed by.
"Is she a thing with Riddle?"
"She's with the hottest guy in school."
"He's probably not even into her."
"True."
"If they are together, I think it's romantic! A mysterious guy, a shy but fierce girl."
Evelyn got so many different whispers. She herself didn't even know if they were together. It was just one date. He said he liked her, but was he just lying? It was so unlike himself to say that. Heck, it was unlike himself to go on a date!
Evelyn finally got to the Slytherin common room and flopped down onto the couch. Avery looked up from his book.
"Wait, are you reading?" Evelyn asked. Avery scoffed.
"No! I don't care for school, I'm actually reading this.." He lowered the textbook, and folded inside was a Paris fashion magazine.
"The patterns are so intricate and the designs are amazing! I'm gonna be famous for that someday." Avery said.
"I think it's awesome you want to do that!" Evelyn told him. Avery smiled.
"Thanks. I don't tell very many people. A Slytherin? A fashion designer?" Avery said.
"So what's going on with you?" Avery smirked. Evelyn groaned.
"I have no clue about Tom! I've never had a boy take me on a date, or say that he liked me! I don't know if he was telling the truth or not." Evelyn explained.
"With Tom, he will admit something, then pretend he even did it. If he said he liked you, he does. He just needs a while before he actually acts on it." Avery said. Now that sounded like Tom. Wait..... what am I doing? He's a future murderer! If i do date him, everything will turn out horribly. He'll leave me to conquer the world. I'll be stuck in this time period all alone.
"I-I have to go. Bye Avery!" Evelyn said rushing up her dorm. She pulled out her diary, just like she did every time she got stressed.
-I can't date Tom Riddle! I have a mission! My mission is to stop him from becoming Voldemort to save the future. Why was I even entertaining the thought that I could be romantically involved with someone. I just can't. I wish my sister was here. Hermione always helped be deal with problems. I made my choice to come to this time. Now I'm making another choice to not be with Tom Riddle.
