Chapter 24 ~ The Great Fall

Hoseok lowered his hand down as he looked at Mei Both . he and Hannah were wondering what she was doing there.

Mei:
   "I'm guessing you two are really getting along well with each other. That's a relief. "

Hannah was wondering what Mei was talking about. Why would she be relieved seeing her and Hoseok together?

Well, obviously ~ Mei was teasing the two of you if it's not that obvious.

Hoseok:
   "Mei ~ "

Mei smirked while approaching them.

Mei:
   "You, moving on from me is such a relief. So I guess we can work without being awkward from the past."

She tapped Hoseok's shoulder and smiled at Hannah.

Mei:
  "You too should move on, Hannah. I planned on sending  my birthday wishes for you. But since you are already here, I think I'll just have it in advance.

*turns to Hoseok, then to Hannah again.

Advanced Happy Birthday, Hannah. I hope you forget everything that's keeping you stuck in the past. So you'll stop being hurt and crying. Well, Jung Hoseok is here. Thank heavens he is here. You noticed that, right? He's always there for you. I wish you'd acknowledge that.

Oh, one more thing. You might mistook Lee Jihoon for Yoongi. Don't be such a dummy. They are two different species. See you around,  Bye :) "

Mei left the two after after flashing a fake smile to Hannah.

Hoseok was relieved that she already left. He didn't like Mei talking to Hannah.

Hannah sighed. She was trying to question herself why she thought of Jihoon as Yoongi. She felt bad about it.

But she only wanted to see him again. And that was the reason why she thought she was seeing Yoongi everywhere.

Too see Yoongi again is another impossible wish that would  never  be granted.

She looked at Hoseok. He was smiling at her.

Hoseok:
  "Sorry about that. Mei likes to say things she wanted to say. Only it's hurtful."

Hannah glared at him and smirked.

Hannah:
  "You haven't moved on from her! Ahhh, you're still hurt she rejected you and never gave a chance. Is that what you wanna say to me? Aigoo, so you still like her!"

Hoseok pouted while staring at Hannah who was convincing him to tell her the truth.

Hoseok:
  "That's not what I'm trying to say. Ahh, really."

Hannah:
  "Then why did you take the 'you moving on from her' as hurtful, huh??"

Hoseok:
  "I didn't."

Hannah:
  "Then what's so hurtful about what she said?"

Hoseok was obviously starting to be annoyed by Hannah's interogation to him. He sighed and looked at the sea.

Hoseok:
  "I'm not telling you. "

Hannah moved closer to Hoseok and looked at him straight to his eyes.

Hannah:
   "Have you moved on from her?"

Hoseok immediately answered her back.
