Me and Chris talked for about another 15 minutes or so before my mom called me inside.I said goodbye to Chris and told him i would see him later before heading inside to see what my mom wanted.
"Hi sweetie, how was school?" my mom greeted.
"Fine, is everything ok. You dont usually call me inside especially when I'm talking to someone" i questioned.
"Maybe it's to do with derek sitting over there with the bat looking out the window saying how he already doesn't like Chris because he was talking to you and how if you weren't inside in 3 minutes he was gonna use the bat on Chris' head" my mom responded trying really hard not to laugh.
I rushed over to derek (my second oldest brother) and pulled the bat out of his hands. "What the hell did you plan on doing with this?!?!?!?!" I questioned angrily.
"Well I DID plan on useing it to hit that kids head off but i can't really do that if you have the bat now can I? So be a good little girl and give me the damn bat" he replied in a calm but serious voice.
"Why the hell would i ever in my life give this bat back to you. Especially now that I know what you were gonna do? I mean how stupid do you think i am?"
"Look Des, i don't think your stupid at all but i am your older brother and, well, I kind of am a guy so I do kind of know how most guys think and I gotta say I'm not really a fan of it when it comes to my ONLY little sister" he responded in a firm voice. I didn't like that he was always so protective of me, but I had to admit, I did see his point.
"I really do see your point but could you just tone it down a little?" I asked already guessing what his answer would be.
"Sorry baby sister. But heyy, don't blame me. It's your fault" he said with a smirk on his face so i could tell he wasn't being so serious anymore.
"How is it my fault you jerk?!?!" I asked him trying my hardest not to laugh but completely failing.
"Your too pretty!!! If you were ugly, no guy would want to go out with you and we wouldn't have this problem!!!" he said smiling at me.
"Well I'm sorry. Do you want me to go upstairs and make my hair all messy and put on an ugly shirt and sweatpants?" I asked him not even trying to hide my laughter anymore.
"Well if you want to but a lot of guys see sweatpants as just easier pants to pull off" he said wiggleing his eyebrows.
"You perv!!! Just remember I have the bat now" I reminded him and he just gave me an innocent smile.
Just then my phone buzzed.I pulled it out of my pocket but before I could look at it, Derek snatched it out of my hand.
"Derek! Give me my phone back right now!" I yelled trying to grab it back but he just pushed me back and clicked the button to view it. The smile instantly left his face. He looked down at me.
"What?" I asked completely confused.
"See? This is what I mean when i say your too pretty so every guy wants to go out with you!" He yelled not joking at all. I looked at my phone that he was holding up in front of my face.
From: Alex
'Heyy do u want 2 go bowling with me and jess 2marro?'
"I still don't see why your so mad about this" I said.
"I'm mad beacuse 2 guys want you to go bowling with them tomarrow!" he yelled.
I imediatly burst out laughing. "Why are you laughing?!?! I'm being serious!"
Once i finally calmed down enough to talk i said, "Derek, i don't think you have anything to worry about". He gave me a confused look. "Alex is gay and Jess is a girl. Its short for Jessica you idiot." I burst out laughing again.

The next day Alex and Jess picked me up at 1:00p.m.
"Heyy beautiful" Alex greeted with a smile on his face.
"Heyy sexy" I said to Alex. This is what we always said because when we were in middle school, I was the only one that knew Alex was gay and we were always together so people started saying we were dating. When we told everyone that we weren't no one believed us so thats when Alex admited to everyone that he was gay.
"Oh ya by the way Des, someone else is coming with us" Jess told me with a smile on her face.
"Ok who?" I asked her.
Before she could answer, Alex pulled out of my driveway and backed into Chris' driveway. Chris came out and got in the car right next to me. Oh great, just what I wanted to do. Lunch and bowling with Chris.
When we pulled out of the driveway, I looked out of the window and saw Derek looking at me from inside my house and I knew when i got home I would have some explaining to do. Well I guess thats something for later. Right now I'll just have to enjoy luch and bowling with Alex and Jess........ and Chris.
