We passed the time in the car by cranking up the volume of the sterio and singing along as loudly and badly as possible. It sounded pretty bad and pretty loud.
"So which are we doin first? Lunch or bowling?" Chris asked.
"I vote for lunch because I didn't have anything last night or this morning so I am starving" Jess said.
"Oh my gosh guys Jess is starving herself! We have to help her! Jess you are skinny enough! You don't want to develope anerexia do you?" I yelled all in one breath.
"Haha. Very funny Des. But seriously can we go to lunch first?" Jess practically begged.
"I don't know Jess. I mean if you wanna continue with this whole anerexia thing food won't be helpful" Alex said trying to sound as serious as possible.
"Oh come on guys leave her alone" Chris said trying to defend Jess.
"Thank you Chris. See guys? Someone knows how to be nice" Jess said with her arms crossed.
"I mean we shouldn't judge her on whether or not she wants to be anorexic" Chris said causing us all to burst into laughter. Well, all except Jess. She just sat there glaring at us with her arms crossed.
"Ok guys I think we better stop before Jess kills us all" I said trying to calm down my laughing.
Just then we pulled into Anna's; our favorite resurant and hangout. The owner, Anna was awesome. She always remembered everyones name and what their favorite food and drink was. (well anyone that was a regular that is).
"Too late. You guys already made me angry" Jess said and then started attacking Alex. I was really happy I wasnt next to her right about now. I knew I was gonna get it though because I was the one who started it all.
Alex opened his door and literally fell out of it. It looked like it hurt but I knew it was a better option than getting a beating from Jess. I knew from experience. When she gets mad, she REALLY gets mad. It never ends well for the person, or in our case people, that made her mad.
Alex got up and ran into Anna's. Jess turned to look at me and Chris. She had a look of pure death in her eyes. Just before she could jump into the backseat, Chris opened the door and we both bolted. We ran into Anna's and searched for Alex. We found him behind the counter next to Anna. He was rolled up in a ball rocking back and forth.
"Hey guys. I'm guessing you made Jess mad again?" Anna asked with a smirk on her face.
"Gee what makes you think that?" I responded sarcastically causeing Anna to laugh.
"Well, don't worry. I've already hidden all the knives just in case" Anna told me, still laughing.
She noticed Chris and gave me a funny look. "Did you get yourself a new boyfriend Destiney?" she asked me smiling.
"What? No. We're just friends. He just moved in across the street from me like 3 days ago" I explained.
"OOOOO" Anna said wiggleing her eyebrows.
"Trust me I don't think I'm ready to have another boyfriend yet" I told her.
"Oh come on Destiny. It's been like a whole 2 weeks. And he's way cuter than Jay" Anna said pointing to Chris.
Before anyone could say anything, I heard the door open. In walked Jess looking..... well I'm not exactly sure. She had a strange look on her face that I had only seen once before and I was dreading finding out what the look was for this time.
