"If I'm going with you, you must first prove something to me" I told him.
"And what do I need to prove I ask even though I am now a little scared" he said mumbling the last part.
An evil grin spread across my face. "You said you would do anything to get me to go to the dance with you" I reminded him.
"I'm suddenly really regretting those words" he said.
"Oh don't worry its nothing too bad" I assured him.
"Okay fine. Just tell me what I have to do so I can get this over with" he grumbled.
"To prove that you will do anything to get me to go to the dance with you, you must try on a dress and heels and let me see you in them" I informed him while grinning evilly.
Chris didn't seem too thrilled about it but surprisingly agreed. I went to look for Jess and Lily so they could help me pick out a dress for my dear winter formal date. When I had looked through the whole store and still couldn't find them, I texted Lily.

Where the hell did you guys go?!?! I can't find u and need some help with something!!!!!
By now I was getting a little angry by the fact they seemed to be nowhere in the store. By the time I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket i was just pissed. I pulled it out and opened the text.

We got hungry so we went to the pretzel shop across from the store:)
"So where are they?" Chris asked me looking at my phone.
"At the pretzel shop over there" I told him pointing to the little pretzel shop we went to every time we came here. The pretzel were absolutely amazing. Ever since I first tasted the pretzels at Paul's Pretzel Place, I couldn't eat any other pretzels. They just didn't appeal to me anymore.
"We'll go get pretzels first and then find you a dress and shoes to try on" I informed him. He gave me a 'your kidding right' look.
"I get that look all the time from my brothers and I'm being serious" I told him with a straight face.
"You know what Destiny, if that's what I have to do for you to go to the dance with me then I'll do it" he said quickly adding, "But you know if you would rather me do something else that would be great". I laughed and shook my head at his attempt.
When we walked into the Paul's, we walked over to the counter. Paul appeared from the back room with a smile on his face.
"Hey Destiny" he greeted me.
"Hey Paul" I said. Paul looked over to Chris.
"Who's your new boyfriend Destiny?" Paul asked wiggling his eyebrows. He was too immature to be 32. I guess that's kind of what made him like another older brother.
"This is Chris. He just moved here a couple days ago. And hes not my boyfriend" I told him.
"Oh I get it your playing hard to get. I understand" he said with a crooked smile.
"That would explain so much" Chris said.
Paul looked at Chris with a confused expression. "What do you mean" Paul asked.
"She won't go to the dance with me unless I try on a dress and shoes" Chris explained making Paul burst out into laughter.
"So I guess your finding a new date then" Paul said to Chris. Chris just shook his head.
"Wait so your actually going to try on a dress?" Paul asked with a look of disbelief. Chris nodded.
"Well Destiny looks like you got yourself a keeper. A boy that will try on a dress and heels just so you'll go to a dance with him is defiantly one in a million. Hold on to him. Anywho what kind of pretzels can I get for you two?" Paul asked.
