I open my door to see Phil with a packed bag, walking towards the door. "Uhm. Where you going?" I ask as if this is casual.
"I just thought, because of everything lately that I should just- you know- spend some time at-"
"Phil, just, shut up." I say, stopping his rambling.
"Uhm.. Okay." He says quietly.
"Please don't go." I say, on the verge of tears for what feels like the hundredth time this week.
"But, I thought you wanted-"
"Well, you're wrong." I say quickly, cutting him off. "I can't let you just run off. I know what I said. But, I.. I realized something."
"And what might that be?"
"I'm in love with you. Well, I already knew that, but.. Mostly, I can't live without you. So, I cant really break up with you. Cause, we both know that's a bad idea."
"But you did."
"And I regret that. Just like you regret what you did. So how about we both just forgive this mess? It might not go back to the way it was right away, but I can't stand this back and forth."
"Okay." He nods with watery eyes.
"Okay." I whisper, smiling for the first time in days.
"I-"
"Shh," I cut him off, hugging him tightly. "Don't ruin it you dork."
