Erik entered hospital and went straight to his moms room. It had been a few days since his last visit. She noticed him enter and greeted him. His grandparents sat beside her chatting. His mother looked a lot better, her brunette silky hair had been cut short. Even though she had gotten better her sudden fit of anger and general crazy meant that the doctors didn't want to discharge her just yet. Erik looked nothing like his dad he had his mom's features, hair and eyes.

"Erik! Where have you been?" Sarah asked.

"Just out with a few friends" he replied.

"I'm letting you lose kid, you better not start slacking off" said his grandfather.

"I won't, don't worry grandpa"

"I really don't understand why I can't leave! I'm perfectly normal" said Sarah.

"It for your own good Sarah!" Grandma said.

Sarah rolled her eyes.

"Is Henry home yet?" His mother asked, the atmosphere instantly became cold.

"No mom, he's still out of town" Erik said looking at the floor.

"How long is he gonna take? He isn't even calling me!" Sarah said angrily.

"I'm sure he'll call you soon, Sarah" said Erik's grandmother.

"He better" Sarah said.

Erik left the room silently, his mom couldn't remember that his dad was dead, every time she asked he felt like screaming. His grandfather came out of the room a few minutes after him.

"Atleast she's happy to some extent" he said sitting next to Erik.

"Yeah, I guess" Erik said sinking lower into the chair.

"We are here for you Erik don't forget that" said grandpa, Erik smiled.

"I know that"

"You went back to the old house right? Why?"

"No reason really, but gramps why did we move?" Erik asked.

"From that house? It was pretty sudden, your mom just called us one day and told us she was moving and BAM, the next day she was living close to us. We didn't ask her too much about it, we were just glad she was living close to us"

"Why didn't they sell the old house then?"

"Sentiment, that's what I thought anyway, you don't think it's related to Henry's death, do you? Mr. Starr told us it was possibly a thief that wanted money"

"Why would a random thief, tie my dad up on a tree? This was definitely planned" Erik said.

"Would you stop all this gibberish!?!" Said an angry grandma who just exited the room.

"No matter what you do Henry is not going to come back!! You need to be there for your mother, not go around snooping and putting yourself in danger!!" She said.

"But grandma.."

"No buts! Apparently you even went and made a ruckus at that nice lady's house"

"Lady?" Erik asked.

"She didn't say he made a ruckus" grandpa defended.

"She implied it though!" Said grandma.

"Wait, what? who?" Erik asked.

"I think her name was Matilda... No, it was Minerva, she came here yesterday to visit your mom, a old friend of Henry" grandma said.

"She visited mom!?!? What did they talk about??!!"

"I don't know, I gave them their privacy" said grandma. Erik face palmed, the one time grandma thinks about privacy is when Minerva comes to visit, absolutely brilliant.

"Like I said Erik.." Grandma was cut off by grandpa's phone ringing loudly.

"Oh it's Mr.Starr"

Nicole sat bored in front of the TV, why was nothing good ever on?! The police had taken all the micro cameras a few days ago, but couldn't trace their origin. The obvious conclusion as to who put them there was the thieves that had broken into the house, but why would they spy rather than just take what they wanted. Even if they wanted the key, how did they know it wouldn't be in the house? These questions circled around Nicole as she sat slowly changing channels hoping that something good was on.

No one other than Nicole and Drake were at home and Drake just sat and worked on his laptop. Leo was out with some friends and Minerva was rarely ever at home, she had taken Candace out with her that morning and was yet to return.

"Nicole? I know things have been crazy recently" Drake said closing his computer, "but I hope you aren't too disturbed"

"It's alright, I'm doing much better than Candace" Nicole said with a smile.

"Do you know why someone would break into this house?" Drake asked.

Nicole hesitated, they had decided not to talk about the key for a while, but Drake was Leo's dad! It won't be bad to tell him, he might help solve the problem. For some reason though Nicole just couldn't, her mind told her to tell him but her mouth just won't move.

"Listen to your gut!" Said a voice in Nicole's head, her grandmother's voice, something she would say repeatedly.

"No, I have no clue" she replied.

"Umm, well then just know that you can tell me anything and I'll help you out, think of me as you dad" he said grinning.

Nicole stomach churned in guilt,"I will"

A few hours later Leo returned and soon after so did Candace and Minerva.

"We caught him" Minerva said plainly, next to a clearly shaken up Candace.

"Caught who?" Drake and Leo asked in unison.

"The man who broke in" Candace said very softly.

"What?!?!" Everyone cried.

Minerva sighed,"The sketch artist drew from Candace's description, and a few days ago the same guy was caught selling illegal drugs, they thought he looked close to the description and called Candace to finalize"

"Why didn't I know about any of this?" Drake asked.

"It slipped my mind" Minerva said, surprising Drake.

"Why did he do it!?" Leo asked.

"Money... The cameras were to see if we had any hidden safes" Minerva replied.

Confusion and silence filled the room.

"And.. The DNA of this man, Mark Porter, matched the ones found under the fingernails of Henry Martinez, so most probably that Erik boy just found his murderer" she said as calm as a midnight sea.
