The Break In

This chapter focuses on how Minerva and Erik get into Arthur's building, and about Jessica and Rose's story happens the next day.

Minerva stopped the car next to Starr's, in front of an old building. The building looked like an old dump, slowly crumbling with age, but the plan was set. While Minerva distracts Arthur's men, Erik and Starr worked on the rescue mission. Starr grinned at the sight of Minerva, cigar in his mouth.

"I will knock that grin right off your face" Minerva said annoyed.

"I'm happy to see you too! And Erik, my partner for the day" Starr said.

"Do you have the map or not?"

"There are uses for Sammy you know" Starr said tossing the layout map to Minerva.

"So, this is the place huh.." Minerva said as she and Erik examined the map.

"Yeah, you go get your smoke bombs and whatever ready, I'll plan with Henry's boy here"

"Smoke bombs?" Erik asked.

"I'm good with chemicals boy!" Minerva said before running into the house.

"This house looks pretty bad in shape" Erik said.

Erik chuckled," that's not a nice thing to say about my house! Anyway, Listen up, I'll give you a pair of earphones to keep us connected, according to Minerva you are still weak as far as control goes, so stealth is your best friend. I'll guide you through the easiest of routes, I'll be getting updates from Sammy as well. If you bump into a guard, zap him! That should knock him out for a while. Nicole...Sammy says he can tell us her location exactly, apparently every doc is onto her. He has no idea where Candace is, and...keep this between us but the Leo boy is in quite a bit of trouble. You'll also be short on time after you get Nicole. Getting out might be an issue"

Erik listened carefully, this could be life or death for him,"we'll get out"

"Optimist! I like it! If you don't, I'll come in with my guns" Starr said giving him a wink.

After running through some code words and other details, they heard Minerva calling.

" Erik! Erik come here now!" She exclaimed.

Starr and Erik ran to a room filled with jars in various sizes with biazarre liquids.

" why did you come here? I called Erik, not you!" Minerva said looking at Starr.

"That's harsh, but I shall leave you to do your thing" Starr said leaving but just before he left stopped and said," it's good to have you back Minny"

Minerva let out a sigh.

"I thought you didn't get along?" Erik asked raising and eyebrow, though smiling.

"He didn't like Drake for some shitty reason, he was a small twat and yet was so against Drake and me"

"Why did you call me?"

"Oh yeah! Here" she said handing him a bottle of purple liquid," drink it, it's not exactly an invisibility potion but it makes your presence wayyy less detectable" she said.

Erik looked at the purple liquid, it was clear, like water with food colouring. He tasted a little expecting it to taste terrible, don't all these kind of potion? But surprising it had... No taste what's so ever, not even the taste that water has, it just tasted like nothing.

"Erik... Get them out safely you hear me!" Minerva said handing him another bottle," you keep this one for later use"

Erik nodded taking it.
