Erik and Minerva pulled up at Sammy's small house. Minerva instantly stormed inside the house, " Sam!"

Erik awkwardly followed. The house looked empty at first but then he spotted a computer on the table, so did Minerva.

"Typical." She said trying to the computer.

"I could have just left you hanging you know" said Sammy's voice over the computer.

"I can't believe you let Clarisse do this! You promised to take care!" Minerva exclaimed crossing her arms.

Sammy sighed, "She is extremely loyal to the bloodline, and she has her beliefs"

"So, are you a double agent?!" Erik asked.

"Oh! Is that Henry's son!! Hahhah! I guess you could call me that, Clarisse didn't tell me about any of this though, I will tell you once I find out myself"

"Pfft! For all I know you could join them as well!"

"Oh Minny! Our family has served yours for years, and I believe that you are the one I should serve, I love my wife but she cannot chance my views"

The room fell silent. Erik's head didnt get better he could feel a fever coming up. He had just sent a message to his granddad that he would be staying over at Blake's place.

"Oh and I would ask.. Rose I think it was to be careful!"

"Rose? Who-"

"Rose!? Nicole's friend? But why?" Erik said cutting off Minerva.

"Because she has the key of course! Arthur's been particularly impatient so he might just kidnap the poor girl" Sammy replied.

Minerva looked at Erik confused, " oh, yeah we'll take care Mr. Sam!" Erik said.

"So! Where are my kids?!"

"Well...."

"Quick Sam!"

"I'm not really sure, they are around Arthur's... Crap! I'll.... Contact you if I have any updates Minny!" Sammy said and then the room sent silent.

"Rose doe-"

"Out!" Minerva said.

"He doesn't need to know that Rose doesn't have it, she lives in the city right? Its better." Minerva said after they exited.

"I guess.. So where to now?"

Without answering Minerva picked up the phone, " yo Starr! Wanna do a favour?"

Jessica picked up scotch and went out to see Drake and Starr sitting on the couch with Rose awkwardly standing around.

"Why did you come to town so suddenly...Rose?" Asked Starr.

"I wanted to surprise Nicole.... Its her birthday in a week"

"No other reason..." Starr said lighting a cigarette.

"Don't smoke in my house Starr!" Snapped Drake smacking Starr's hand.

"Fine fine.." Starr said putting his lighter away.

"Ummm.... Can we know what happened to Nicole and the others?" Rose asked hesitantly.

"Looks like the maid did it, we found a spoon with burnt skin on it. She'll.. Give a ransom call soon I'm sure" Starr said with an unnatural smirk.

"Wh... Where is Mrs.Theodore?" Jessica asked, mainly out of curiosity. She hadn't seen her anywhere and she'd been in the house for over 4 hours.

Drake stared at her with a open mouth, contemplating his answer when Starr cut in," oh! Where is she I wonder?! Gone off to save her kids!?" Sounding fake as ever.

Drake grunted, "Do your job Starr!"

"Fine fine" he said getting up and taking out a cigarette, "But isn't it odd to you that...... They would kidnap the kids? If all they truly wanted was... The key" he said silently and left the room looking at his phone. The room fell into silence.

All kinds of thoughts ran through Jessica's mind, so Starr knew who kidnapped them? And they are or were after the key? All the shitty research she helped Leo with was into place in her head. She just needs a little more.... A computer... Now!

"Rose, why don't you stay here till you can go back? " asked Drake breaking her trail of thought.

"Oh, no thanks Mr. Theodore! I'll stay at Jessica's place" Rose said flashing a smile.

"Oh.. Okay then... Rose.... If you have anything that.... Nicole gave you, give it back now!" Drake said with surprising intensity.

"I... I don't.." Rose said, feeling the book get heavier and heavier in her pocket.

"We! Should get to my place! My mom must be really worried" Jessica said peppyily.

"You live in Asher lane right..?" Drake asked.

"ehhh yeah..."

"Oh! I'll come get you two if Nicole gets back" Drake said with a sudden smile.

"G... Great" Jessica said before leaving the house with Rose and Scotch.

Okay! Just so that there is no confusion... Minerva and Erik side of the story is happening on the day the others were kidnapped, whereasdayse came to town the next day... :)
