Chapter 8 '♥*''*•.¸ ღஜღ ¸.•*''*♥' Friends United

I wake up and find myself on a bed in a white room with a painting on the wall, a desk on both side of the bed with a bouquet of flower on it and a TV of course. I wonder why I'm here. My body is feeling hot and cold, too complicated. I'm in the middle of thinking when some people come in through the door on my right. Ryan and Justin step in.

"How are you doing?" Justin asks.

"I'm fine. Thanks for asking. Why am I here?" I wonder, still thinking of what happened.

"Uhm long story short," he answers. He look at Ryan who smiles and leaves. He leaves like he's an invisible ghost, doesn't care.

"I think I remember now. It was cold, it was raining hard, last night. You told me to cut the grass with a pair of scissors."

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to! I've been such a jerk to you! I'm so sorry!" he apologizes.

I don't want to forgive him, but I know he'd feel the same way when he finds out that I lied to him.

"It's okay, I understand," I say. Pattie comes in through the door and smiles at me.

"How are you doing sweetie?" she asks.

"I'm fine Pattie, thank you," I say as I sit up. My half heart necklace hangs clearly asked freely from my neck. Pattie and Justin see it.

"Isabella, may I see your necklace?" Pattie asks.

I take off my necklace and give it to her. "Here you go!"

She examines it and a tear rolls down her right cheek.

"Hold on!" Justin take out his keychain. It has a pendant that looks exactly like one of that hanging from my necklace.

Pattie gives the necklace back to me. I look at it and look at Justin's keychain.

"It looks like your half heart is the half to mine!" Justin say as he moves his half heart next to mine. All of a sudden we hear a click and the half hearts intertwine and form a heart. Tears roll down on both our cheeks.

"You're Isabella? Oh my gosh I missed you so much! You were the best girl I've ever met! It was you all along! No wonder why you were so familiar!" Pattie says.

Suddenly, Justin hugs me, crying. I hug him back, confused of why he's hugging me.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't know you were my very best friend! I really didn't recognize you! I really am sorry! Forgive me please!" he says.

"All these years, I didn't know you were that little boy who haunts my dreams. I missed you so much!" I say as realization hits me hard and tells me that he's the boy who was always in my dreams and also happens to be my very best friend..

"Justin kept talking about you since we left for Stratford. Until now he still brags about you!" Pattie, who is crying told me.

"I didn't know! I was so mean, rude, harsh and such a douchebag to you!" Justin says as he lets go.

"I never forgot the moments when we played!" I say.

"I got those necklaces for you. I told Justin to give you the other half. It's like a reminder that you'll always be best friends," explain Pattie. "What a sweet moment!"

"I promise I'll never be mean to you again! I swear I'll die if you leave this time! You were such a best friend! I know even though we were just like six year old then, there was a connection. My mom loved you. Our parents were best friends, too!"

"I won't leave Justin! I promise!" I say.

"Speaking of parents, where are my old pals?" Pattie asks. Uh-oh, she's looking for mom and dad. I'm hoping she doesn't watch TV when my parents get interviews. "Oh yeah! I once saw them on TV! They're so rich now! Well they've always been rich. But how come you're poor and working?"

Oh no! I could tell about this to Pattie but not to Justin, he'd get mad!

"I have to go to the bathroom, be right back!" Justin says as he wipes away his tears. Things are happening on the right time, and by right time I meant the time when I want things to happen.

"Okay honey!" Pattie says. I just wave goodbye to him. As he leaves, I put my necklace back on.

Once Justin is out, I turn to Pattie and say, "No, I'm not really poor. I'm actually rich. Richer than Justin. Well this is why I'm working....."
