2:26 am

Michaels  phone started screaming "DAD SAYS ACT OUR AGE YOU HEARD THE MAN ITS TIME TO RAAAAGGGGEEE" nearly making him fall out of bed. Micheal recognized the ringtone immediately as his boyfriends and assumed that Jeremy either had a nightmare or was high and needed to share his idea about an all bird marching band again.

"Heya jere bear what's u-"

"HE KNOWS!" Jeremy screeched through the phone.

"Woah there babe who knows what?"

There was the sound of sobbing coming from the other end. "My d-dad someone told my dad a-about us!" Micheal felt his world crash around him. Jeremy's dad wasn't exactly the friendliest with gays and hearing that someone told him about their relationship was terrifying to say the least.

"Woah wait who told him?"

"I-i don't know! He just burst in my room and started screaming at me and t-then he l-left. And now I'm on my bike and I don't know where I'm g-going and-" Jeremy was cut off when he started choking on sobs.

"Oh god jere where are you I'm coming to pick you up." Michel said throwing off the blankets and jumping out of bed.

"N-no! I don't want you seeing me like this." Jeremy had always been extremely shy with showing his emotions especially when he was sad.

"C'mon Jere now is not the time-" Micheal was cut off by the click of the phone being hung up. "Fucking god Jeremy," Micheal swore before punching in another number. "Hello Josh? Yeah I know it's ass o'clock alright we have an emergency."

2:58 am

"Took you long enough shit face," Connor yelled at Jared when he pulled up towards the little group. "Shut the fuck up Jd wannabe. I brought coffee for everyone but hot topic over here."

Micheal looked around at the small group he had in front of him as they took cups of coffee from Jared. He managed to convince Connor, his boyfriend Evan, Jared, Josh his section leader from band, and Nates brother max the saxophone section leader. "Hey dumbass why the fuck are we here?" Jared yelled at him.

"Right, it's about Jeremy." Connor let out a loud groan. "If you're trying to get laid why are you asking any of these heteros  for help?"

The others laughed and started talking among themselves. "JEREMY IS MISSING YOU CRANBERRY FUCKUTS!" Micheal screamed getting their attention. "I ASKED YOU DUMB FUCKS HERE TO HELP ME FIND HIM SO WHOS IN?!"

Within ten minutes they already had paired up and were leaving. Josh had a bunch of old walker talkies in his car from a party he had thrown for his seven year old sisters birthday so each group grabbed one and set off.

3:14 am

"No sign of him at the library. Any other ideas?" Josh said through the walkie talkie.

"Try the school he might be trying to get into the band room." Micheal said remembering when Jeremy said something about if there was an apocalypse he would go there to die.

"Okie,"

"He's not at his house either." Connor said.

"Ugh. Just stay there we don't know if he'll be coming back."

"On it. Evan wake up!"

"Alright he's not at the old playground Jared and I are gonna try the arcade."

Jeremy's POV

'There's no other place to go' he thought to himself. He had no other family around that would want to take him in after what his dad said and he was too much of a mess to be seen by his friends so he turned and started pedaling towards the high school.

The cool thing about their highschool was that the band room was in the back and it had a door that led right outside so he could sit there until the band director got there and let him in.

He wasn't very far away from the school so it only took him a few minutes to get there.

Josh POV

"Alright Micheal Jeremy isn't here. Where else should we go?"

"I I don't know Josh just gimme a sec."

"Wait is that him?" Josh said out loud when a shadow started approaching the band room pushing a bike alongside him.

"OH MY GOD IT IS. HES OKAY. HES OKAY."

Josh threw the walkie talkie at his brother and jumped out of the car.

4:00

Jeremy's POV

Jeremy dropped his bike off right next to the band room court yard and started walking towards the band room door when. "Jeremy?" He jumped up and turned to look at Josh. Now Josh was about 6'6 and can look really scary if you don't know that it's him.

Jeremy screamed on instinct and almost pissed himself. "Hey buddy it's just me. It's Josh Calm down I'm right here." Jeremy looked up into the boys blue eyes and started bawling his eyes out.

4:45 am. McDonald's

"WERE HERE!" Jared screamed as Micheal and him burst through the door, nearly making the girl working the counter pee herself. "Wait where's Jeremy?" "B-bathroom" Evan said pointing towards the bathroom. "He saw y-your car and said he needed to do something." As if on cue Jeremy walked out of the bathroom visibly cleaner but his face was way redder as if he had been scratching at his face.

"BABE!" Micheal screamed before running over to Jeremy and kissing him. "Are you okay? You didn't hurt yourself did you?" Jeremy shook his head. He looked like he really wanted to cry but was holding it back. He kept shaking his head until the tears exploded. He collapsed into micheals arms.

8:00 pm.

The group had just finished moving Jeremy's stuff into the guest room of micheals house. It was pretty surprising how much you can get done with a group determined to get someone out of their house. But now they all sat in micheals living room eating burnt popcorn and watching movies. And as Jeremy snuggled up to Micheal he realized he wouldn't have it any other way.
