Still The Good Girl?

Chapter 6

I wake up and look over at my phone to see the time and see that it's 10:30am. I rial back over and start to fall back asleep when I remember that I have dance my dance practice at 12:00pm and it takes a half hour to get there. I jump out of bed and run into the shower.

I take a 15 minute shower and go and find my leotard, tights, tutu, ballet shoes, hip hop shoes, and point shoes. I put my leotard, tights, tutu, and ballet shoes on and put the rest in my bag. My bag is black with Mickey Mouse on it and my name on it, I got it in Disney when I went last time.

I run down stairs and grab four water bottles and stuff them into my dance bag. Trust me I drink them all. I can't be late to this practice since it is the first one. I am really nervous right now and I can't wait to dance.

I haven't danced since around three or four weeks ago. I see my mom has already made breakfast for me and Caleb.

"Hey mom how are you?" I ask panting form rushing and running down the stairs.

"Good how about you? Did you sleep well?" she asked me calmly.

"Very good and what about you Caleb?"

"Yea sure don't you have dance today?" Caleb asks like it's the hardest question in the world.

"No shit Sherlock and your driving me and you cannot say no. Deal with it" I say jokingly.

"Hey! No cursing at the table!" mom strictly says.

"Sorry mom" Caleb and I say at the same time. I finish my breakfast and kiss mom goodbye and run out to Caleb's car.

When I'm about to pull out I see Luke with who I would guess is his younger sister in a tutu and ballet shoes on. I heard that there is a dance 'academy' called "Broadway Bounds" or something like that about five-ten minuets away from here.

When we arrive there Caleb drops me off in the front. I say goodbye to him and head into the studio. It's called "1-2 Ready Go" and I teach two classes and take three, but I only pay for one. I'm a new starter here so I can't compete yet I have to wait for next season to start competing.

When I walk in I register for a locker to put my stuff in while I dance. That locker will be mine for the rest of the season.

After I put my bag away I go into the dance studio where I'll be having my first class. It is a rout wen that on the first class for the younger girls and boys for their parents to come in to meet the teacher here.

I'm talking to parents and their kids who are going here when out of the corner of my eye I see Luke walk in with his sister. Aww she is so cute! After I finish talking to some parents I now have to talk to Jerk who has been ignoring me since the first day of school. Nice right?

"Hey Luke" I say nicely. The little girl is hiding behind Luke's legs. it is adorable.

"Hey Cal, um do you know where the teacher is I'm supposed to introduce me and my sister to her?" Luke asks. I giggle 'cause he doesn't think I could be the teacher.

"Well for your information the reason why I'm in a tutu is because I'm the teacher. So who is this pretty young lady?" I squat down to her level with a real smile on my face I really do love kids a lot! I work well with them too.

"Hi I'm Annabeth but everyone calls me Anna" Anna says she has a light green tutu on and her hair is a redish brown color and is in two braids.

"Have you seen the movie frozen?" I ask Anna

"Yea and can u guess who my favorite is?" she asks me bouncing on her toes.

"Umm could it be Anna?" I question.

"How did you know? Is it because of my name?" She asks l little bit sadly.

"Kinda and also you have very pretty hair I love it like that!" I say and a huge smile crosses her face.

"Thank you very much. I really like your tutu" she says to me. my tutu is a light blue with sparkles on it.

"Why thank you." I say very happy "you know you are the only one who has told me they like my tutu?"

"Really!" now she is really perky and smily.

"Yep, well do you wanna go talk to some other kids while I talk to Lukie?" I ask and I don't even have to look at Luke to see that he is glaring at me.

"Can I Lukie please, please?" she pleaded.

"Yea go knock your sox off" he smiles at her as she skips away to the group of girls and boys. (which I'm surprised they are so many. Not to be sextet) I stand up straight and look at Luke.

"She is really cute and nice." I say with a real smile on my face.

"Yea I know she is. Who do you think she gets it from?" Luke asks me.

"Her mom?" I tease.

"No guess again." he says.

"Father?" I ask carefully.

"No... your supposed to say 'you' to me" he says fake laughing.

"Oh okay whatever you think" I laugh and he joins in. I fill him in on the normal stuff and ask him to write his name with an emergency phone number in case we need it.

He says goodbye to me and Anna and walks out just like all the parents. All the girls sit in a big circle and play the name game. the name game is where you say your name and something about you. Anna is sitting next to me but I go first.

"Hi I'm Mis.Clare and I love mermaids" I say then Anna goes and then around the circle. Then we all stretch with the music on and start class.

After class all the parents come in to get their kids. when Luke comes in Anna comes running over to me so I squat down to her level.

"Thank you so much. I had a lot of fun today. I can't wait for next week!" she says really happily.

"No thank you for being such a good student. You're a really good model." I say kindly.

"Well I have to get ready for my next class bye Mrs.Clare!" Anna says as she walks to the door.

"Bye Anna!" I yell after her. I go get ready for my next class which is my point, after that I have hip hop, then I have to teach hip hop and end my day with ballet all in the same day. The good thing is that I still have the rest if the week off.

After all my classes are over I call Caleb to come get me. When he gets me he drives me home and he just asked me about my day and classes. I told him about Luke's sister and how cute she was and the other girls and guys too.

When I am done telling my story we have reached home. I get out of the car and grab my bag and walk up to the front door. When I get in side I smell pulled pork. If you don't know what pulled pork is here, it is pork in BBQ sauce and it is pulls so it is stringy. It is yummy!

After dinner I go up toy room and take a shower and put my blue pjs on. Oh and my favorite color is blue just saying. I climb into bed and I immediately fall asleep.
