~A few months later~

I stared off into space in math class as I thought about well... Red-bloods and silver-bloods. (Hehe what did you guys think she was thinking about eeeeeeh?)
It's been a few months here and I'm really starting to like it, Taylor is starting to be less rude to me. Stephen, Chris and I have become really close friends. But of course I still spend time with Ellie.
The bell rings, indicating that this class is over. Which means I get to feed the monstrosity inside me aka my stomach.
I go to cafeteria but make a quick stop at my locker. As I walk in I trip, I luckily regain my balance and turn around to see the one and only Taylor. "Sorry." She says rolling her eyes, it was obvious that her intention was to make me fall.
I just ignore her and go to the table that I now sit at. Stephen, Chris, Ellie, Cassia, Maria and a few of Stephens friends. Amethyst is out of town, supposedly on vacation, and Rachel, she just started ignoring us ever since she found out that me, Chris and Stephen are friends. There are rumours that Rae liked Chris or Stephen.
I sit beside Chris and across from Stephen. "What's up? You look very tense today." Says Chris, his voice laced with concern. "Just thinking," I answer, not looking up from my food. "Mhmmmm..." He hums, not believing me.
Stephen notices the sudden tension and changes the subject before Chris can ask anything else.
"So... How was the math test?" He asks Chris. Chris shrugs in response, suddenly I smell burning wood. I close my eyes, willing for the smell to go away, but closing my eyes was a big mistake.
Once I open them, I'm back in the forest. But something isn't right.
I walk towards the familiar tree where Stephen stands, his back to me. "Stephen!" I yell his name. He whips around and gives me a look of disgust, but I notice that it's not me he's looking at. It's someone behind me, I turn to see Chris. He has a wicked smirk on plastered on his face. His eyes are no longer the deep blue I knew. His eyes are now a shade of blue which is close to silver.
"C-Chris?" Dammit why did I stutter?
"Sel, what are you doing with...him." He said 'him' in a frightening tone, sending shivers down my spine. This isn't the Chris I know.
"What has gotten into you?!" I yell at him.
His smirk widens, then in s flash, he's strangling Stephen.
"Stephen!" I yell, tears forming in my eyes. But I do my best to hold them in.
"Let him go." I growl at Chris and push him off Stephen.
Sel?
I hear a distant voice say,
Sel, don't worry. You'll be alright.
They say again.
Them the explosion sounds, sending a great impact on all three of us. I see Stephens limp body on the ground.
I yell his name but because of the explosion, my ears are ringing. I can only hear a muffle if my own voice when I talk.
I turn and search for Chris with my eyes. He's standing firm on the ground, his smirk not longer on his face. His expression is now just guilt, pure guilt. "What have I done?" He says, rubbing his temples. His eyes, I realize, aren't the silvery-blue anymore. They are now the deep shade of blue they were.
"Chris?" I say, I still can't here clearly.
"No... This is all my fault. Dammit." He sobs, falling to his knees. What is even going on?
"Chris?" I say in a soothing voice as I walk to him, I kneel beside him.
"It's okay..." I say, not knowing what else to say. I'm never good at comforting people.
He looks up, meeting my eyes. His beautiful blue orbs shining with tears.
"It's my fault he's gone.... I should've controlled myself, dad told me to control this monster in me.... I'm silver-blooded." He whispers the last part, making me gasp.
I put a comforting hand in his shoulder. "You'll be okay." I say.
Then he leans close to me, looking into my eyes, then my nose and then my lips. His eyes are glued to my lips now and he leans in.
His lips barely brush mine when everything goes black.
"Sel?!" Someone yells. I open my eyes to find myself in a hospital, I look to my right and a familiar pair of blue eyes greet me with joy.
"What happened?" I ask, I can hear clearly now.
"Y-you passed out in the cafeteria... Because of me..." He replies, looking down. What does he mean?
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"I tried to access your emotions, to see what you were feeling. And I can't control my powers... I lost control and you passed out because of the impact." He says with guilt in every word. "You don't believe me..." He sighs.
Wait... Does that mean that when he said he's a silver-blood in my vision/dream. "You're a silver-blood..." I say in a whisper, but he heard me. "H-how did you know??!!" He asks stuttering.
He runs a hand through his hair and bites his lip. I look away, blushing.
"Do you have the visions?" I ask, covering up the blush with a question. But it failed.
"Yes and... You look red, do you have a fever?" He asks, putting his hand on my forehead. I blush even more, if that's possible. I'm not used to anyone touching me, even my mom doesn't hug me anymore. Even if she does, it's rare.
"W-what vision do you get?" I ask.
"Well they're usually dreams but recently they've evolved into visions. They're about... You, me and Stephen." He says, his hand that was in my forehead isn't there anymore. I look down at his other hand and notice that he's holding my hand, making me blush. "Can you explain it in detail?" I ask. "Well, Stephen stands below a tree with his back to me. And in front of me is you, each time I try to get to you, you don't answer or turn. You just care about Stephen. Then in my most recent one, you call Stephen causing him to turn, then he looks at me with disgust and you turn to look at me. Finally. Then I black out inside the vision and when I'm back, I'm on the ground in my knees. You in front of me. Then the next thing I know, I kiss you..." He says the last part while blushing.
There's a knock at the door, "come in." Me and Chris say in unison. The door knob turns and the door opens, in walks Stephen.
"H-hey, a-am I... Intruding?" He asks, looking at me and Chris' joined hands.
I remove my hand from Chris' grasp and I shake my head in response.
He pulls up a chair beside Chris. "I'm sorry for eavesdropping. I-I didn't mean to." He says guiltily while looking down. "It's okay." I answer but Chris glares at Stephen. "I have the visions too." He says meeting my eyes. "Everything is the exact same as you guys described it." He continues. "But I don't know what silver-blooded is." He says. He looks at Chris now.
Chris and I explain everything to Stephen. "S-so... Am I a silver-blood or red-blood?" He asks. "O-or both?" He asks. "Being both isn't real, silly." Chris says, waving his hand like Stephen just said that he met a unicorn. "A-actually... They do..." I say. "I am both silver and red." I say. Chris' mouth hangs open in awe while Stephens brows are furrowed, deep in thought.
"B-but how?" He asks. Then I explain my side, my life, how my mom told me the truth. Everything.
They both nod, understanding. "Stephen, you're probably red-blooded." I say, Chris nods in agreement.
"Oh ummm... I wanted to tell you both that I have to go to NYC, my parents are photographers so they have to go there to photograph various models." He says.
"Oh..." I say, my head hands low so that way my bangs cover my eyes. "I'm leaving in an hour." He states.
I still look down, I don't want him to leave.
"Mr. Delos? You are due at the airport." A woman with long jet black hair says. "Bye guys, I will come back in a few weeks." He says. "Bye." I murmur softly.
I feel a hand on my shoulder and see Stephen. "I'll miss you." He says. He on the opposite side of Chris now. "I-I will too." I reply. I side glance at Chris who is fuming with jealousy. Then Stephen kisses my cheek and runs out of the door. But he glances back to see my reaction.
I'm a red mess and I'm touching my cheek, where he kissed me.
The door closes and Chris still fumes with anger. "Why did he have to do that?" He mumbles under his breath but clear enough for me to hear.
"Jealous much?" I ask, wiggling my eyebrows up and down. He rolls his eyes playfully in response.
A nurse walks in, she holds a clipboard to her chest, gently. She seems about five or six years older then me. She clears her throat. "Ms. Markellos, you are discharged." She says. Then she winks at Chris flirtatiously, and of course that makes my blood boil.
"How old are you?" She asks. "Why?" He answers with a question.
"Maybe we can go out sometimes?" She asks, batting her eyelashes and smiling flirtatiously.
"No thanks, I have better things to do." Chris replies bluntly.
The nurse puffs her cheeks out and walks out of the room.

"You should've seen your face when she winked at me." Chris chuckles, nudging me with his elbow as we walk out the hospital. "Oh please," I reply, waving my hand. "You were jealous," he states.
"Was not!" I reply. "Lies!" He says disbelievingly
"I am not lying." I say to him. "It's alright to be jealous, I was jealous when Stephen kissed your cheek." He replies. I blush at the memory.
"That's very brave of you, you know. Not many guys can admit that they're jealous." I say, he drives me home.
We don't speak more but I can see out of the corner of my eye that he has a smile on his face.
He takes my hand in his own, I look down at our joined hands, My mouth slightly agape. But I don't let go of his hand.
I look up at his blushing face, he doesn't say a word so I don't either.
He drops me off, mumbling a good bye.
