The Day When *Finished*

Waking Up

I woke up in a cold sweat. I looked at my arm there was an IV. I looked up at the wall the 7 o'clock news was on. I heard a gasp. Dr. Cullen was sitting at the end of the bed. I felt a firm grip on my leg. I looked at my mom.

"Maddie" I saw a tear roll down her cheek.

"Hey, Mom."

Dr. Cullen interrupted, 
"Miss Madison Avery Baker, you are very lucky that you don't have any injuries. Actually, you're lucky you didn't die." I didn't listen I was spacing out thinking about what happened. Thinking of how the vehicle hit and then I blacked out.

I looked out by the door a boy I went to school was sitting in the guest chair. Eddie or Edward I think was his name Dr. Cullen's son I believe. 

"Edward come in here and introduce your self to Madison. " Dr. Cullen said across the room. Edward stood up taller than I remember and then stood by his father. 

"Maddison This is my son Edward he found you and called the ambulance. If it weren't for him you might not be here." Edward held out his hand for a handshake. I touched him but then I had a glimpse of the past. 

Sudden backflash of last night---------

I was off and on I looked down my arm was bleeding. I heard a mans voice it sounded familiar. I looked up to see who it was. He was blurry he was tall, strong, dressed in black, and he looked like he was crying. 

The Present---------------------------------------

I let go of his cold hand.

"Maddie whats wrong?" My mom asked as she jumped up. 

"Nothing his hands were just really cold."

"Well... I'm going to go I will see you at home Carlisle, and I guess I will see you at school." Edward left as fast as he came in.  

"Well, Miss. Baker, you will be out of here in 5 days, so on Friday but for now take it easy and I want you to take these." He handed me 2 pill bottles I took them and then mom took them out of my hands.

"Thank you, Doctor, we will." My mom said with a worried smile. 

"Okay if you need anything just call for me, have a good night."

"Bye Dr. Cullens." He smiled then started whispering to Edward and looking at me he seemed a bit angry.
