" Um okay" I said pushing the plate of mush in frount of me.
" You know you can't eat that right?" Edward said smirking
"Yea, even if I could I dont think I would want to."
"So Carlisle and Esme wanted me to ask you if you wanted to come to our house so they can get to know you. Or I guess the person I saved. If you want too."
"Yea that sounds like fun." I heard a snicker across the table. It was Rosalie.
" Fun yea okay. Remember what happened last time when you invited someone over?" She said through her clenched teeth
"Rose she... that was different. She was a human and besides we don't talk about that remember?" Edward said trying not to let me hear. I was going to ask about but I don't think it would have been a good idea.
"Madison?" Another voice from around the table called my name It was Emmett "What do you plan to do now with your new life?"
"Emmett why would you ask that?" Alice looked at him " Maddie you don't have to answer that."
" Thanks Alice."
"Okay Maddie let's go to the gym I need to talk to you in private." Edward said standing up
" Okay I just have to go dump this tray of slop. I will meet you there"
"Okay by the bleachers."
Edward walked off and I was about to follow, but then someone stopped me
" Maddie you best not hurt him he s already been hurt once." Rosilae said giving me a death glare. I nodded and walked away.
What happened to Edward who hurt him? Why do they not talk about It? Why is Rosalie such a b?
The slop split into the trashcan and I left the tray on the counter. Then I left the Cafiteria, and went to the gym.
I saw Edward and he rushed over too me.
"Rose said something didn't she?"
"H... how did you know?
"It's part of being a vampire it comes with the package."
"What are you talking about?"
"Some of us have special abilities"He lowers his voice as someone passed by "Alice has visions of the future, I can read minds."
" How do you know if you have... abilities?"
"They just kind of come you know?" I nodded even though I have no idea. "I've got to go see you tonight."
Edward left giving me a soft kiss on the cheek.
"Bye?"
