Edward takes me to the woods behind his house with his hand in mine.

"Ready for this Maddie?" He asked looking down at me.

" Ready as I will ever be I guess"

"First we are going to run, have you tried it yet?"

"No I've been to scared. I've seen movies I know what happens." Edward let out a chuckle

"Okay I want you to run straight forward and try not to run into anything." He said positioning me in front of him.

"Will you run with me?"

"Yea on 3, 1... 2..." He paused "...3" In the slightest move I was sprinting through the wood's faster than anything I've ever seen before.

I looked around everything was in slow motion but yet the land was moving so fast beneath my feet. I stopped.

"Is everything okay?" Edward said concerned.

"Yea but it's just... The smell." Edward sniffed the air.

" So you can't handle this but you can handle school?" He said laughing

"At school I just force myself to remember all of the diseases all of they all probably have." I say giving a fake shutter.

Edward laughs "Yea that's true" He smells the air again. "It's over here" he said gesturing to the left of him. We start running tword the smell. Man I am never going to get tired of runing like this, I say to myself.

When we get to the source of the smell I look around and see a lynx. I look to Edward. He nods. The next think I know the burning in my throat is gone.

"Dang" said Edward.

I laughed in embarrassment.

Sorry this chapter is so short. The next chapter is going to be amazing just saying. I will give you a hint High School. Yea it's going to be interesting.
