The Day When *Finished*

Outburst

My alarm for school in the morning is the worst sound I can hear. I let it go on for another minute until I get so tired of it. I stare at the alarm and focus so hard I think my brain might explode.

Come on why is it when I try to do something with my new power it never works, but when I don't need it that's when it comes.

I do my usual rutine like clock work and pick out an outfit. It is a gray graphic Tee with a polar bear on the front. I pick out some light blue kapres and some brown boots with those.

I go into the kitchen and mom is leaning on the counter waiting.

"Are you not going to eat breakfast again."

"What?"

"You don't think I haven't noticed? Maddie your body is beautiful and you have no reason to starve yourself."

"Mom, mom, no I'm not starving myself I don't know what you are talking about. Ready?" I look at her and pick up a Pop Tart off of the counter.

I grab my bag and head out the door looking at the silver wrapper in my hands, and throw it into the mud.

Getting in my car I search for my keys in my bag when I hear a knock at my window. I open the door and there is Alex.

"I need a ride Madds"

"Okay" I sigh " get in"

"Thanks Madds. So what is up with you and your boyfriend" he says boyfriend like it is a curse

"What are you talking about?"

"You know your always with him and your not hanging out with Elise anymore. She told me that you had an outburst on her the other day."

"Oh did she now, and what exactly did she say I said in that outburst?"

"She just said that she tried to talk to you and then you started yelling at her."

"Well that's great. The only person that liked me when we moved here now is stabbing me in the back"

"What are you talking about? Your crazy"

"Nothing I just cant believe you would side with Elise and even believe me. Come on get out, were here."

I storm out of the car and walk into the school. As I walk to my locker I see Elise waiting there on her phone. Trying to ignore her best I can, I open my locker, but it failed.

"Madison hey I was looking for you"

"Yea well I would eventually be here" I see the lights flicker

oh come on not here not now please let it be the school being cheap.

"Yea but I just wanted to say that I'm sorry and if we could hang out tonight."

"So what are you gonna tell my brother? That I couldn't bear to be without your friendship and I came crawling back?" They flicker again Elise sees it and scuffs.

"No"

"But why not got such a good story tell to other people and usually I'm the main character in those." I hear a buzz and then a scream, the light farthest away erupted into shards of glass on the floor.

"Oh my gosh Madd be ratotional"

"No Elise I'm done with you I cant handle your fake friendship or fake life anymore. Bye."

I walk off and every light in that hall breaks. There are a few screams and I walk out the door, to my car.
