The Day When *Finished*

The End pt. 2

I woke up to an empty hospital room, an all too familiar sight. In fact it looks like nothing has changed. The same 7 o'clock news is on a story about a car crash in the middle of town.

Oh wait.

I feel my hand around trying to find my phone, but instead I just manage to press the 'help me please nurse lady' button.

Crap no.

Giving up I lay down and wait for the nurse to arrive with who knows what.

"Hello Miss. Baker, I am nurse Williams,but call me Patty. Are you in any pain?"

Um, yeah I was just in my second car crash in a couple months. I want to say.

"Yea my head is pounding and my body is really stiff."

"Yes that is common for your state, are you sleepy or dizy?"

"Yea a little bit."

She gives me three pills and a plastic cup of water.

"Doctor Cullen should be in, in a minute, if you start to feel drowsy again just press this button." She pulls there'd button to my side "We don't want you calling asleep for that long again." She mumbles under her breath and leaves.

What did she mean by that long?

"Maddie? Oh my goodness Maddie, I was so worried." She runs past nurse Williams and jumps on the bed.

"Mom, hey. Your kind of hurting me"

"Oh I'm sorry honey, I can see why, you just got in a car crash."

"Yea I guess you are going to ground me now that this is my second crash in a couple of months."

"Second? Madison what are you talking about you were in another car crash? When?"

"Mom are you kidding? Not really funny right now."

"Maddie I don't know what you are talking about, will you tell me please."

"Nothing you must just be shocked right now I will tell you later. Where is Alex?"

"Alex is at home with Mason, your dad is here though."

"Oh yea I don't really want to talk to him."

"Madison come on hun he is trying to stop drinking and he has been in rehab."

"Yea for the third time."

"No second"

"No third, nevemind why are you trying to defend him anyway? He is the one that cheated on you."

"Madison we are not having this disgussion right now."

"Fine."

"Miss Madison Avery Baker, you are very lucky to have minor injurys that was some car crash."

"Better than the last?" I joke

"Excuse me?" Dr. Cullen asked looking over his papers on his clip board "There is no reported other accedents on your file."

"Madison are you okay?" My mom looked at me and put her and on my leg

"Yes im fine what is up with you dont you remember the crash?" I pulled away from her and stood up just remembering how much my body ached. "Edward saved me, dad had some guy named Gravy come to our house, Daniel tryed to kiss me, and you... you... why are you guys looking at me like that?"

"Madison I am going to ask you a serious question right now please give me a serious answer." My mom stood up my match my stace "Are you on drugs?"

"Mom! Are you kidding me? You dont remember?" I start to get dizy and fell my eyes getting wet.

"Madison I think you need to rest I will come back soon. Miss. Baker will you give here some time please?" My mom nodded and walked away slowly and I caught her looking back at me when she went out the door.

"Carilisle you have to belive me, you dont remember"

"Madision?"

"No I am not on drugs! Come on you and your family are vampires, and Edward turned me. Does that help you remember?" He looked up im guessing what was mid-sentence on his clip board.

"What? Who told you that?"

"Carilisle, you have to belive me please." I sit back down on the hospital bed a tear rolling down my cheak.

"I will be back for now you should get some rest." He finished what ever he was scribiling on his papers and left the room

I dont remember when I fell asleep but when I wake up I am in the back of an ambulance.

"Hey?" I ask "Hey! Is anyone here. Hello?" I feel my heart start to beat out of my chest. The ambliance jolts to a stop and I hear some whispering in the front of the vehicle then the back doors open and a small woman gets in and the ambliance starts up again.

"Where are you taking me?" I ask

"Dr. Cullen asked us to take you to a metal state institution for a while you mom will meet us there its okay you will be home in no time." She says it like there was suppost to be optomism somewhere but I cant find it.

"You think im crazy dont you?" She dosnt respond "You think im crazy dont you? Diranged, looney, mad?" The vehicle comes to another sharp stop and the  doors open again. This time a large man comes through the doors.

"Okay Millie will you get that side?" The large man asks Millie. They pull me out on the streacher and walk up to the house. I can already see the inside white walls, white furniture, and white envrything. I see my mom on the side walk along with Dr. Cullun, my brothers, and my dad.

"Mom," I whisper the words but them put all of my energy into it "Mom!" She turned tword me "Mom, help me please. Im not crazy I am telling the truth please help me. Mason, Alex?" Then I loose all control I start sobbing and then they leave.

We get inside to the crazy people home and they pull me off the streacher into a bedroom.

"Madison this will be your room until you get okay enough to go home." Millie says then she leaves me in my room

One Year Later

I got out today. I havent seen anybody in three months except Nia and Brooke from the home. My mom is driving me to our house and on our way I see a familiar face. Its Edward with another girl, with brown hair and pale skin.

"Mom?"

"Yes honey?"

"I didn't lie"
