I am with you,
I will carry you through it all.
I won't leave you, I will catch you,
When you feel like letting go.
'Cause you're not, you're not alone.

Quinn's eyes pulled to the tall doctor standing behind her, holding a clipboard in his hands. Quinn didn't know what that meant, but in the movies doctors with clipboards always had good news, right?

"Um, sure- I mean, yes!"

Quinn shook herself out of her haze, realizing that he had news about Rachel, AKA the girl the blonde had been whining about for a few hours now, hoping she'd get better soon in every way possible.

"Well, miss Berry has gotten lucky today. She cut three deep cuts through her wrist, almost managing to cut through her veins, which could've caused her death. Luckily, she didn't hit any, the reason she went into a coma was her blood loss. Right now, she is stable, only one person at a time can visit her. Would you like to see her?"

Rachel could've died is all Quinn could think in that painstaking moment. Sure, she already knew this information, but it really hit her hard now that the doctor confirmed it. But she was able to visit Berry now, and she was- no, she wasn't going to do it. What if she remembers my supposed hate for her and sneers me away? But she had to go. Yes, for the rest, that's it, for the rest of the group.

"Ye-yeah, please."

Quinn managed to stutter out, smiling shyly at the doctor.

"Great, well let me take you to her room miss...?"

"Miss Fabray, but you can call me Quinn."

The doctor grinned, extending a hand for her to shake.

"Nice to meet you, Quinn, my name is doctor Green. I believe Rachel mentioned you this morning..."

And with that, the doctor walked away with a smirk, leaving the stunned blonde to catch her breath as she also tried to catch up with the knowing man.

----

The doctor waved with his small (compared to the other men in Quinn's life) hand at the blonde before walking back towards the cafeteria. It left nothing more than for Quinn to walk into Rachel's room, but somehow- she just couldn't. She didn't know what would be waiting for her inside, if Rachel was going to accept her or throw her out like some piece of trash, which Quinn would fully understand.

Rachel was peacefully sleeping as the blonde quietly entered the room. Pale walls colored- ... wait, no, didn't color- the room, there were a few pots, filled with pills, standing on Rachel's bedside table, setting the mood perfectly. Quinn quietly took a seat directly next to Rachel's bed, her gaze glued on Rachel's retreating figure lying still on the bed. Never in a million years had Quinn thought that the person, the girl at that, she'd fallen in love with would fall into this kind of mess. But it happened, and Quinn knew all she could do was be there for the broken brunette, no matter what the consequences would be.

"I'll be there for you."

Hey guys! Sorry for not updating for over a damn month. I kinda lost interest for a while and didn't know what to do, but I've made some plans for the future of this story now and I can't wait to finish it! There'll still be many chapters left though, so don't worry :) xx Nadja.
BTW: the song lyrics used are from the song Not Alone by Red :)
