It stinged.
All of it.It's like no one believed it. Or their bodies did, but their hearts weren't ready to.
Because it seemed like a regular Tuesday, and it looked like just a Tuesday,
but it wasn't.
It was a full week after Rachel's suicide attempt. The one thing that had been taboo in the usually loud choir room ever since it happened.Finn and Artie were trying to lighten the situation, as they'd offered to perform an improvised cover of I Want It That Way, and everyone (especially the girls + Kurt) were loving it, swinging their bodies to the soft groovy music.
They were leaving the pain behind,
something Quinn had never learned to do.Her head felt heavy as she put it in her hands, trying to calm the voices that had taken over her brain.
Every voice around her felt like another stab to her heart, and it drove her insane.
It was all blurry, and the name Rachel couldn't leave her mind if she tried. She wanted to let go of the pain, but the pain wouldn't let go of her.

"Do you think she'll be okay?"
Dr Green looked up from his paperwork, surprised to see a blonde young lady in front of him.
He remembered that worried, partially afraid look from something."I'm sorry, miss. Who are you?"
Quinn's mouth twitched for a second, smiling shyly at the man.
"Oh um, yes, sorry, I'm Quinn Fabray. I came by a few days ago to visit my... friend, Rachel Berry."
Dr Green triumphantly smiled back at her, bumping her on the shoulder shortly.
"Oh yes, miss Fabray, how could I forget. Rachel is...stable. Her body's recovering well, but we don't know if, or when she will wake up. It could be days, weeks, months or even years."
The idea of Rachel not being by her side soon made Quinn want to run away immediately.
She wasn't a doctor, but she watched enough hospital shows to know that if a patient didn't awaken from a coma soon enough, they'd put them off life support, and Quinn didn't want to live to see the day that would happen to Rachel."Do- do you think she'll wake up?"
He smiled sympathetically at the seemingly upset girl,
"That's up to fate. But you can help fate out a little..."
