Chapter 2

Bae Mirae

When I walked inside the house, my aunt was already there. She was busy cooking in the kitchen. It is like 6 pm and she is home? That's so unusual. "I am home"I announced my arrival. Aunt heard that and shouted a " welcome back" from kitchen. I walked kitchen and saw delicious food on the table. "You are early today"I stated. "oh yes, today i had no surgeries so I came home early. Aren't you happy?"She asked me while narrowing her eyes. "Of course I am happy"I exclaimed.

"I'll go to my room and change, call me for dinner Imo"I said and she nodded. I walked upstairs and changed into comfortable shorts and baggy t-shirt. I still can't believe my crush is my neighbor. 

I was about to text Inha but I remembered her family gathering thing so I didn't text her. Instead I started stalking my crush's Instagram. I lay on the bed and started scrolling. Slowly my eyes became heavier and I dozed off.

I woke up hearing knocks on my door. I glanced at the wall clock to see the time and it showed 8:23 pm. I got up and opened the door. My aunt was standing there with smile plastered on her face.

 "Mirae-ah dinner is ready so come downstairs"My aunt said and left. I fixed my bed hair and headed downstairs. Both Uncle and Aunt were there but sehun was nowhere to be seen. "Sehun is not here yet?"I asked aunt as I sat on the chair. "No"Aunt said and at the same time doorbell rang. "Must be sehun, I'll go and get it" I got up from my seat and went to open the door.

When I opened the door, I couldn't believe my eyes. Sehun was standing there with my crush. Sehun was in uniform where as Baekhyun sunbae was wearing a v-neck t-shirt and jeans. If he looked handsome in school uniform then right now he looks more handsome. How can someone be so handsome.

 Baekhyun sunbae whispered something in his ear and sehun chuckled. "Hyung, this is my cousin Bae Mirae, and he is my friend slash our neighbor Byun Baekhyun"Sehun introduced us and walked inside and Baekhyun sunbae followed him. 

I closed the door and walked back to dining table. I sat on my seat that made me face baekhyun oppa. Today is my lucky day!!. We were eating in silence until aunt spoke. "Baekhyun-ah how are you? I haven't seen you in a while."

"I fine Mrs. Oh." Baekhyun sunbae smiled at aunt. This is first time I am seeing his smile and let me tell you its so beautiful."So are your parents out again?"Aunt asked him and he just nodded. "Until they come back, come here to eat okay?"Aunt offered him to eat here. 

"Aniyo Mrs. Oh its okay, I don't want to bother you"He declined her offer. "Its not a big deal baekhyun-ah, so come here everyday, okay?"She said in way that she was expecting a yes as an answer. "Okay"He said and continued eating.

I love my aunt so much. Now I can see his face every morning and go to sleep after seeing his face. I don't know how to thank my aunt. Should I gift her something? I was celebrating in my head but uncle interrupted it.

"Mirae-ah? Darling, What happened? Why are you making weird faces?"He gave me a concerned look. "Aniyo, uncle its nothing"I tried to shrug it. "Ah! right, Baekhyun-ah did Sehun introduced you to our niece Mirae? "Uncle asked to Baekhyun sunbae and he nodded. "Yes, he did. Mr.Oh"Baekhyun sunbae briefly answered him.

After having dinner with us,Baekhyun sunbae left the house. After helping aunt with dishes, I head to my room. It was 11:00 already. Should I call Inha?I don't think I can keep my happiness with myself anymore.

I dialed her number and after two rings she immediately answered the call. "You weren't asleep, were you?"I asked her. "Nope, Just came back home. I was about sleep but you called me. What is it?"She sounded tired.

"I have so much to share about baekhyun sunbae, wanna hear me out?" If she says no then I'll her about it tomorrow. She sounds like she'll break down because of tiredness.

"Tell me about it"she decided to listen to me. 

"Let me tell you from the time we departed."I said.

"Okay, go on"She said listening attentively.

"So when we parted, I took a bus home. I was looking out the window whole time, listening to music when I felt someone's head on my shoulder. Guess who would it be?"I asked her to guess. 

"No way, don't tell me what I am thinking is right"She dramatically gasped. "Yes way , it was baekhyun sunbae"I said and she squealed. "tell me more, what happened after that"She asked for more details.

"He and I got off on the same stop. He walked ahead and I followed him. After walking for 5 minutes, he stopped and got inside his house. Want to know most interesting thing?" I asked her.

"Yes! yes!" She said like a child agreeing to receive chocolate. "My aunt's house is next to his house. We are next door neighbors"I told her and this time she squealed like a dolphin. "Mirae-ah you are really lucky."She uttered.

"I know right but this is not the end my dear, there is more to tell you"I said to her. "More?Omg! tell me, tell me" She sounded so desperate. "During dinner, he came to my aunt's house. He is friends with sehun and my aunt and uncle know him well too." I paused. I didn't hear her respond. "You aren't asleep, are you?"I asked her.

"Nope, now continue"She told me to continue. "His parents are abroad so my aunt asked him to come over till his parents return. Now I am going to see sunbae's face after waking up and sleep after seeing his face. Don't you think, I am too lucky?"I asked her in happiness. "Totally! "She exclaimed.

"Mirae-ah don't you think we should give him a nickname? It'd be too obvious if you keep on calling him sunbae"She suggested to give him a nickname. "What should we nickname him as?"I asked for suggestion.

"How about min-min? Since we both love Strong woman do bong soon. He'll be min-min and you be bong-bong. What do you think?"She asked me. "Of course, I love it."I agreed to her suggestion.

"Mirae-ah I'd to talk but I am wrecked right now. I'll hang up okay?"She said and I hummed. "Good night bong-bong, dream about your min-min"She said and hung up the call before I could say anything. Okay, I'll dream about my min-min . I smiled thinking about him and fell asleep.

But little did I know there was someone eavesdropping on our conversation the whole time.
