Chapter 27

Byun Baekhyun

I have decided to chase after her and my target is not to let her move on. Next morning when I went to Oh residence for breakfast , I was seated across her. I smiled at her but she ignored my presence and continued eating.

When I offered her ride, she said she would take the bus instead. And instead of calling me oppa, she called me Sunbae.

If I'd say that it didn't hurt then it'll be a big, fat lie. It did hurt but I tried to shrug it off. Leaving my bike at home, I followed them to bus stop. Since there were no seats we all had to stand up, and I was standing behind her.

Her sweet smell filled my nostrils making it hard for me. I wanted to her and right at that moment, the driver stepped on the break and she jerked backwards. Preventing her from falling, I wrapped my arm around her waist.

Not after long, she slightly pushed me away and detached her my arm from her waist.

After we got off the bus, we got separated. Whole day was boring. I was anticipating lunch time when I could see her.

After 3 hours of patience it was lunch time. I ran off to cafeteria and got her favourite drink and bread.

When I handed her those, she took it without words and after walking few metres , she dumped those in the trashbin.

That sight really took me back by surprise. A part of me told me she was really giving up on me and the that though was killing me both inside and outside.

I don't want her to give up on me after I've started to like her.

I watched her walk away without giving me any expression and as she walked away tears started falling down my cheeks without knowing.

One month later

Bae Mirae

“If I did anything right in my life it must be the time when I have my heart to you”This was written in the note placed in my locker along with flowers.

This has been continuing since last month now. Everytime I open my locker, I see cheesy notes along with flowers and chocolates.

He has been doing this since the day I decided to move on.

I was succeeding in my plan but it had been difficult since few days. His cheesy compliment, his kind gesture, his beautiful is really making it difficult for me.

Keeping the note into my pocket. I headed towards the classroom. As usual sehun was loitering around in our class, having sweet moments with Inha.

Never in my life, I had thoughts of Inha dating sehun. I thought both of them hated eachother but turns   out I am the wrong one.

As I sat on my seat, Mr.Kim entered the class. "Mr. Oh go back to your class. You had enough time with your girlfriend"Mr.kim said, shooing sehun out of our class making whole class laugh out loud. Inha looked down in embarrassment and walked back to her seat.

"Okay! Enough now"He shouted and started teaching us.

After next three hours, it was finally recess. I, Inha, Jackson and sehun headed to cafeteria.

These days Jackson has really got close with us.

I and Inha were waiting for Jackson and sehun to get us food talking about stuffs.

After few minutes sehun and Jackson came back but they weren't alone. Jaebum, chanyeol sunbae and Baekhyun sunbae followed them.

"Where is jinyoung?"I asked jaebum and he said he was absent. I nodded and gestured them to take a seat.

After taking seats, we started eating. We were eating in silence when sehun started the conversation.

"Don't you guys have friends? Why are you sitting with us?"He said which was directed to Chanyeol sunbae and him. He was probably teasing him.

"Why Sehun-ah? Don't you enjoy our company after you got yourself a girlfriend?"he teased back sehun making him blush hard. We spent the whole lunch talking and teasing one another.

I was in middle of eating tteokbokki when I choked. I started coughing loudly when two choco milk appeared infront of me. I took one and drank.

When I stopped coughing, I turned to see who offered me and it turned to be Jackson and another one was Baekhyun sunbae.

I swear I didn't avoid Baekhyun sunbae's drink intentionally, it just happened that way.

I glanced at Baekhyun sunbae and his expression didn't look good at all. A part of me wanted to talk with him and tell him it wasn't intentional but the other part ended up winning.

After lunch classes resumed as usual. At home time everyone decided to ditch me. Sehun and Inha went out for a date, Jackson and jaebum went to see jinyoung.

I was walking towards the bus stop when I felt someone following me. Being the curious person, I turned back to see who was following me and it turns out to be Baekhyun sunbae.

"Hi"he waved at me but I ignored him and started walking in pace.

With his long legs, he caught up with me and stopped my grabbing my wrist.

"Bae Mirae, stop ignoring me"he pleaded but ignoring his pleads I started to yank my wrist from his grip.

"Let go"I told him to let go my wrist but he didn't.

With force I yanked my wrist, getting out of his grip and started walking faster.

"Mirae-ah go out for a date with me"he literally asked me out on a date making me stop in my track. What makes him think that I'd go out with him after I am in my moving on phase.

"In your dreams"I said coldly, rolling my eyes and started walking again.

He ran infront of me and kneeled down. People around us started eyeing us.

I grew red in embarrassment. "Yah! Sunbae. Get up"I said to him, not wanting any public attention.

"Not unless you agree to go out for a date tonight"He became stubborn. Not wanting any public attention, I agreed.

"Fine,I'll go out, Now stand up"I said and he stood up cheering in victory.
