Chapter 7

Bae mirae

"What?!"I exclaimed and people around us started looking towards us. "I am sorry" I apologized and bowed. "How do you know I like baekhyun oppa? and What do you mean by You stop liking him?" I almost yelled at him.

"Doesn't matter how I know but you should stop liking him. He isn't the right guy for you, so don't like him"He said with poker face. As words 'stop liking him' escaped his mouth anger started raising inside me. I really want to slap his face right now. Who is he to tell me who to like and who not to?

"You don't tell me who to like or who not to like. You are no one to tell me what to do or what not to. My heart belong to me so I'll like whoever I want"I told him while gritting my teeth . "I am cousin and I have right to protect you from bad. I am your oppa so I am protecting you"He shouted . " Stop irritating me. You are just 3 months older than me so stop acting like oppa cause I don't  see you as one. I'll keep liking him whether you like or not" I shouted at his face and got up from table and walked away from him. I don't care what people think of me right now, I don't care about them judging me. 

I am really, really, really mad at sehun, Who is he to tell me who to like or who not to. I want to slap him so hard right now but controlled my anger. I walked back to my class and to my relief there was no one in the class. Everyone must be eating. There is like 50 minutes before the break ends so I walked to my seat, lay on head on the desk and went to dreamland. This is a weird habit of mine that whenever I am mad or sad, I feel sleepy. 

I woke up when I felt someone shaking me. Aish! Why is auntie waking me up so early. I went to sleep just an hour ago.  I opened my eyes and saw Jackson's face in front of my face making me scream at his face. What is he doing here in my room?. "What are you doing here in my room?"I asked Jackson who was standing a meter away from my face after calming down.

"Your room? Mirae-ah this is classroom not you bedroom"He laughed hard and I look around to verify what he said was true and indeed I was in class but why is it so silent. "Why is it so silent here then?"I asked Jackson as I stretched to fully awaken myself. How come no one woke me up? not even teachers.

"We don't have classes now, everyone went to watch pre-match practices for variety of sports."He answered me. "Oh! what are you doing here then?"I asked him. " I came to get my clothes"He showed his bag and I just nodded.

 "What about Inha? Do you know where she is?"I asked him as we walked through the hallways. "Ah.."He was thinking hard "Ah.. yes I saw her with your cousin ten minutes ago"He told me. Wow! now my best friend left me alone too. She is with sehun not me. Wow! Just wow!. Shouldn't she console me instead? 

"Stop thinking and lets go"Jackson said snapping me out of my thoughts and pulled me with him to basketball court. "Why are we here?"I asked him, confused.

 "I am in 1st years basketball team so~"He trailed and brought me to front row of bleachers. "Stay here and cheer for me okay"He said and I nodded. "Jackson-ah"I called him as he was on his way to court. He turned to me and raised an eyebrow. I did a 'hwaiting' gesture and he did it back with a flirty wink making me laugh. 

After ten minutes game started and Our years team was competing against Second year and guess what, Baekhyun oppa was in the team too. People from our year started cheering for Jackson except for girls who were cheering for baekhyun oppa while People from Second year cheered for Baekhyun oppa too. I looked around to search for Inha but she was no where to be found .If she is going to be partnered up with sehun then so be it. I don't need her and if you ever hear me telling that I don't need Inha like I am saying right now then it is a big fat lie. Aish! I hate her for leaving me alone but right now I need to cheer for Jackson so I'll focus on it now.

 Honestly ,I wanted to cheer for Baekhyun oppa too but I promised to cheer for Jackson. So I shouted my lungs out cheering for Jackson but in my heart I was cheering for Baekhyun oppa. I am too weird right.

Game ended with 4 to 4 tie. Both Jackson and Baekhyun oppa played very well. I got out from the bleachers and got 2 bottle of energy drink for Jackson and Baekhyun oppa. I walked to Jackson and pat his back saying "You did well" to which he laughed in return. I handed him energy drink and he gulped it in one go leaving my jaw touch the floor.

Jackson was showing off his basketball tricks to me when I saw baekhyun oppa walking out of the court. "I'll be back"I said to Jackson and followed baekhyun oppa. "Baekhyun oppa wait~"I shouted making him stop in his track. I quickly ran to him.

"You played really nice"I said and handed him the energy drink I brought for him, his favorite, strawberry flavor. He took the drink and started walking again. He could've at least smiled. Sigh!!. He walked ahead and I secretly followed him. He hasn't opened the bottle I gave him yet. After walking for five minutes he stopped walking. He took the bottle I gave him and threw it in the dustbin. Why did he do that? Doesn't he like strawberry anymore?. Why do I feel bad? Why is my heart so heavy.
