Chapter 24

Bae Mirae

When I really thought I meant something to him, it turns out I am nothing but a nusiance, a pure headache that you want to get rid of.

As soon as those words escaped his mouth, I just couldn't breathe and pain in my chest was unbearable.

They say person whom you love the most are the ones who hurt you the most. That saying must be true. I am really heartbroken by his words this time.

When I walked away from his room fortunately Mrs byun wasn't downstairs so I didn't have to make lame excuses for walking out of her son's room crying.

As I exit byun residence, cold breeze embraced me. I wiped the tears that were rolling down my cheeks but it was of no use. As soon as I wiped the tears, another set of tears started falling.

The pain inside my heart and the feeling to cry out loud was killing me. I was trying to walk away from the house since I don't want my family to freak out when I walk in crying. 

I was walking towards the park when I felt a tap on my back followed by a "Mirae-ah where are you going?". It was jackson.

I didn't want him to see my crying for the second time so I didn't turn back and kept on walking. I felt his grasp on my wrist and with a force he made turn towards him. "Mirae-ah why are you ignoring-"before he could complete his sentence his gaze landed my face. 

"Are you crying?"As soon as he said that without even thinking i wrapped my arms around his and sobbed in embrace.

Jackson Wang 

As she wrapped her arms around me and sobbed in my embrace, my heart broke into peices but all I could do was hug her tighter and rub her back telling every will be alright.

"Am I really a nuisance jackson?"She asked me between her sobs. That voice literally crushed my broken heart. "No, Mirae-ah you aren't"I told her and hugged her tighter. Infact You are precious, I wanted to tell her but they never escaped my mouth.

After crying for  little more, she finally calmed down so I and her went inside the house. Sehun was sitting on the couch texting someone and his parents weren't home.

"Where were you guys?"Sehun asked us as he acknowledge our presence.

"Just out to get some fresh air"I answered him and he just nodded.

"Mirae-ah can you call In-"before he could complete his sentence Mirae walked up the stairs totally ignoring sehun. I can understand her situation so I didn't try to stop her.

"Yah Bae Mirae how can you ignore me, where are your manners" Sehun yelled as she walked up the stairs.

"Sehun let her be. She is upset right now" I told him not to bother her.

"Why? what happened?!"he suddenly got concerned.

" I think she had a fight with Baekhyun hyung"I told him and his hand balled into a fist.

"I swear I'll kill this hyung. I already him about not hurting her but he did"he spoke gritting his teeth.

"Stop! Sehun"I stopped him before he could walk out to beat him up. As much as I want to join him to beat baekhyun hyung, Mirae will be more upset if we beat him up.

"Don't. Mirae will be upset"I told him.

"I can't help it Jackson, he hurt my cousin, I need him to taste my fist"Sehun shook his head.

"Not now sehun. It's not right time"I told him and after convincing him for next ten minutes he finally dropped the idea of beating up baekhyun. I don't want to respect him after he hurt the girl I like. Not anymore.

"Should we go and check out on Mirae?"Sehun asked me but I shook my head.

"I don't think that is a good idea. We should give her some time alone"I told him and he nodded understanding.

"Do you want to go and grab some dinner?"sehun asked me as he headed to kitchen.

"I am not hungry"I declined his offer. "I am going to sleep in your room and thanks for letting me stay" I thanked him and headed to his room to sleep.

Next day when I woke up it was already 11:49. After freshening up and eating some food, I joined sehun in the living room.

He was watching anime. "Did Mirae come out her room?"I asked sehun and got a "Nope"as response.

I stood up and climbed up the stairs that led to mirae's room. After knocking twice at her door, I
got inside her room.

She was in her bed curled up into a ball. I walked up to her and shook her a little. "Please leave jackson, I don't want to do anything right now"She said and her voice sounded so weak and fragile.Seeing her like this really pains me.

"Go get ready, Mirae. We are going out and I am not taking no for an answer"I pulled her from the bed pushed her towards the closet. She was about to protest but I gave her 'I am not changing my mind' look and she walked away to get ready.

After she was dressed, she walked out of the bathroom and we headed downtairs. "Are you guys going somewhere?"Sehun asked us and mirae answered him.

"Yes we are going out. Do you want to join us?"she asked sehun and I was hoping him to say No but he did the opposite.

"Okay, I'll get my jacket, wait a minute"He said as he walked towards his room. Not wanting him ruin our hangout which I actually consider as a date, I texted him.

Oh sehun ditch us this time. I want to grow close to mirae, so do me this favor 🙇🙇

Oh Sehun

Grow close eh 😏😏.

Fine, I'll be a good friend and help you😉😂.

He came back to living room without his jacket. "On second thought, I am not going. You guys enjoy"he said and jumped back on the couch watching TV.

"Okay, then let's go Jackson"she said and linked her arms with mine leaving me giddy all by myself.

A/N: I know this chapter has no Baekmi moments but hey I ship Jackmi  too. Anyways did you guys like the chapter? I hope you did.
