Chapter 21

Bae Mirae

"I am all yours oppa, Jackson is just my friend"I stepped closer while locking our eyes. "So don't think too much" I tiptoed and pecked his lips, leaving him dumbfounded for a moment. In next moment he pulled me closer, closing the gap between our lips, kissing me passionately.

We pulled back gasping for air. My heart was beating with speed of bullet train and my face was all red. "Does this kiss means you fell for me"I don't know why I asked it and I was hoping a positive answer.

But I was thinking wrong. "I was just caught in moment, It means nothing. Don't assume anything."His cold voice pieced through my heart and gloom engulfed me. Aish! Bae Mirae you shouldn't have expected too much.

Without even speaking another word I headed to other side of ferry. For sometime, I don't feel like seeing him. Not after he crumpled my heart after making it flutter like crazy.

After staying in cold breeze for thirty minutes my heart somehow calmed down. It still hurts but it is endurable. After next ten minutes, the ferry stopped at the bay. I got off the ferry along with everyone. 

Jackson called someone and hired two cars as they were out of van. I, Jackson, Inha and sehun were in one car while Chanyeol sunbae, Baekhyun oppa,  Jaebum and Jinyoung were in one car. Its a relief that we aren't sharing the same vehicle else it'd be way too awkward.

During the whole ride we were quiet. Everyone was too tired to talk. In next thirty minutes we reached Jackson's family house. It was huge and mesmerizing.

"Wow! Its so beautiful"Inha exclaimed like a child. "I know right. It makes me want to live here forever"I blurted without thinking. "We can come here anytime we like"Jackson sweetly smiled at me and I returned the gesture.

"Are you guys going to spend all night outside? I am really hungry."We heard Jinyoung's voice from inside, So we all headed inside.

Not only the exterior but also the interior was lavish. I was exploring the house when I heard them argue. "I am not cooking, I am too tired"Chanyeol sunbae said as he jumped on the couch. "Me neither" Sehun and Jaebum joined Chanyeol sunbae.

"How about we play scissor paper rock to decide who will cook?"I suggested and they agreed but somehow my own backfired on me. I lost the game and these lazy cows didn't even offer to help me. 'How nice!' Sarcasm intended.

"Inha-ah, aren't you going to help me?"I showed her my puppy eyes. "Mianhe Mirae-ah I am too tired"She said and I rolled my eyes. I sighed and entered the kitchen and started preparing the ingredients. After few minutes Jackson entered the kitchen and said he'd help me and I gladly accepted his help.

"So what are we cooking?"Jackson asked me I was chopping onions. "Japchae, Kimchi Jiggae and Kimchi fried rice"I told him while chopping the rest onions. "Should I boil the noodles?"Jackson asked and I just hummed in response, too busy to talk.

I was middle in the cutting kimchi for kimchi jiggae and Kimchi fried rice when someone entered the kitchen. I lifted my gaze to see who it was and it turned out to be my cold boyfriend who never open up his heart for me.

"Oh! Hyung, are you here to help us too?" Jackson asked him. "No, I came to get something to drink"he said with his usual cold voice. "Oh okay!"Jackson said and continued cooking japchae.

I was out of mind for couple of second which resulted in me slicing my skin on index finger. I hissed in pain and walked to sink to wash the blood. "Stay here, I'll get the band-aid"Jackson said and left the kitchen.

I was washing my wound when Baekhyun oppa walked near the sink. He left band-aid on the counter and left without saying a word. Sometimes I really wonder if he has mood swings or he is bipolar.

I put the band-aid around my finger and continued cooking. Jackson came back with first aid kit in his hand. "Its okay, I found one in the drawer"I lied to him but I don't know why?

After an hour the food was ready. We served the food and started digging in. After chatting until everyone was sleepy we headed to our respective rooms. I and Inha shared a room, Jackson and Jinyoung, Baekhyun oppa and Chanyeol sunbae , Sehun and Jaebum shared a room.

Next morning I woke up early like really early. It was around 4:30 and I couldn't sleep back so I headed to veranda. It was till dark outside but the sea was glowing because of the moonlight. It was really peaceful to watch so I sat on the beach chair and stared at the peaceful sea waiting for the the sunrise.

I was lost in looking at the aesthetic ocean when I felt someone sit beside me. I turned my head to see who it was and it turned out to be baekhyun oppa. I didn't speak a word nor he did. We were staring at the aesthetic ocean without talking a word.

"I'm sorry"I heard him utter so I turned my face to face him. I was beyond confused. What is he apologizing for?

"I'm sorry for saying that the kiss was nothing. I don't know if I like you or not but I shouldn't have said those mean things."He said. His voice was deep and husky, sending the chills down my spine.

"Its okay! I forgive you"I said and leaned on his shoulder and unexpectedly he didn't push me. Instead he took my hand in his and intertwined his fingers with mine watching the aesthetic ocean. Staying like this with him so peaceful and heart calming. I wish we could stay like this forever.

Without even realizing it was already sunrise. The ocean looked more eye pleasing than it looked few hours ago.

"Oppa do you know, it was my fantasy to kiss during sunrise"I unintentionally blurted out my fantasy. "Then let me fulfill it"He whispered as he leaned closer. He cupped my face making my heart beat crazily.
