Chapter 17

Bae Mirae

After an hour, Baekhyun oppa parked his motorbike in front of a house. He rang the doorbell and not after so long an old lady came out of the house and her eyes sparkled as her eyes landed on baekhyun oppa.

"Aigoo, My puppy is here"She said and pulled Baekhyun oppa into a hug. "I missed you so much my puppy" She added without letting go the hug. "I missed you too Halmoni"He hugged her back. After she pulled back from the hug her eyes landed on me.

"And who might this beautiful young lady be?" She asked Baekhyun oppa while giving me a sweet smile. "Anneyonghaseyo Halmoni , My name is Bae mirae" I introduced myself. "Is she your girlfriend  baekhyun-ah?"She asked baekhyun oppa, I was expecting him to deny it or divert the topic but instead he admitted which brought a bright smile on my face.

"Lets go inside my puppies, I'll cook for you guys" Halmoni said and three of us headed inside. 

"So what do you guys what to eat?"She asked us as she headed towards kitchen. "Anything"I and baekhyun oppa spoke in sync making Halmoni laugh out loud. "So I'll make bibimbap, Hamuel pajeon  and Japche for you guys"She said and started preparing the ingredient.

As halmoni was preparing the ingredients for food, mirae stood up. "I'll go and help halmoni"She said and headed towards the kitchen. She offered to help and my Halmoni gladly accepted it.

They were cooking while talking but I have no idea about what. From time to time they would laugh. Strangely  her laughter didn't seem annoying as usual instead it sounded sweet, sweet as honey. I didn't wanted to interrupt their moment so I played with my phone instead.

I was playing game in my phone when Halmoni sat next to me. "Is the food already ready?"I asked her. "No not yet, Its halfway done. I was cooking but shoulders suddenly started aching so mirae wanted me to rest so I came to rest here"She said and I nodded. So caring!

"Let me massage your shoulders"I said and started massaging her shoulders. "Baekhyun-ah, never let go mirae okay, she is really precious"Halmoni said as I was massaging her shoulders. I didn't say anything. 

After an hour or so, the food was ready. "Halmoni, Baekhyun oppa lets eat the food is ready" She came running to living room. "Lets go halmoni" I said and helped her stand up. We all went to dining room and started digging in.

Mirae was serving us food with a sweet smile plastered on her lips and little did I know that I was unconsciously staring at her the whole time. "Baekhyun-ah I can see that  you like mirae too much but eat now"Halmoni said snapping back my consciousness. 

Mirae and Halmoni were controlling their urge to laugh while I turned all red. Without even having eye contact with those too I started digging in. I am too embarrassed to have eye contact with them right now. 

Talking about the food mirae made is more than delicious. "Mirae-ah you cook really good food" my halmoni complimented her.  "Right? Baekhyun-ah"She added. I wanted to compliment her cooking skills but all I could do was a nod.

"Thank you so much halmoni"She politely said to halmoni while gave me a short smile. Did I offend her?

After having dinner we were about to leave but Halmoni wanted us to stay over tonight. "Its already 9 pm and riding bike to Seoul can be dangerous, so stay here tonight"She said and we had no choice but to agree.

"I'll inform sehun about this"Mirae was about call sehun but I stopped her. "I already informed him,so you don't have to"I told her and she nodded.

"Children I am tired so I am going to sleep,If you need anything then help yourselves okay and Mirae you can stay with Baekhyun in his old room. Other rooms are not available and I don't like sharing room" Halmoni said and headed to her room.

"Lets go to our room Oppa"She said and pulled me with her. "Do you even know which one is my room?"I stopped walking. "Haha!! I don't"She gave out a stupid grin.

This time I held her hand and Pulled her towards my room. As we entered the room, she ran to the section of my room where photos of my childhood were.

"Is this you oppa?"She pointed at one of my picture where I was crying. Aish!! why did grandma put this embarrassing picture.

I just nodded. "You were so cute back then"She said admiring my picture. " aren't I cute? now?" I asked trying to do an aegyo after 10 years making her burst out loud. "Yah!! stop laughing" I yelled at her because I started getting annoyed.

"Okay, okay!! I'll stop"She stopped for a second and burst out laughing again. "Oppa can you promise me one thing?"She suddenly became serious. "Depends"I told her. 

"Promise me you'll never do aegyo in future"She said and started laughing again. Aish!! This girl is so mean. "You're so mean" I said and unconsciously pouted.

"Aigoo! My Namchin is so cute"She pinched my cheeks as if I was an 5 years old kid. "Aigoo!! My Yeochin is so cute"I pinched her cheeks trying to play along.

Our cheeks were red from this cheek pulling thing, we both stared at each other for a brief second and burst out laughing. Its been so long since I've laughed like this.

I had no idea that I was staring at Mirae's face while leaning in. I stopped when I felt her hands on my chest trying to stop me.

"Sunbae I've noticing this since we arrived here, you've staring at me while zoning out? You smiled instead of giving me cold look. Don't tell me! you are already falling for me?"She asked me taking me by surprise.

"What!! No . I'd never fall for you"I denied trying my best not to change my facial expression. Somehow my sentence changed her smile to to a frown making me feel guilty. Aigoo! Baekhyun pabo you shouldn't have done that.
