Tye
I hear a jingle from down the hall. I chuckle and keep cutting up the chicken breast. I hear the same jingle around the corner a few seconds later.
"Leo, baby, I can hear you." I say. That collar was a good choice.
"Hi mama!" he says hugging me tightly. I look down at him. He's so precious.
"Whatcha making?" He asks. I rub his forehead.
"Fettuccine chicken alfredo," his eyes go wide.
"Yummy! Super yummy!" His smile reminds me to have him wear a bib. Messy little baby.
"Mommy?" He asks.
"What's up champ?"
"Can I play on the floorwith my car?"
"Of course baby!" He scurries to the kitchen and plays under the table. I hear him make car noises as I cook.
"BAM BAM BAM!" he yells while banging his cars together.
"Be careful with your toys, sweetie." I shout. I hear him giggle.
When its time to make plates I put his food on his favorite puppy face plate.
"Mama can I has a puppy plate?" He asks.
"Already on it!" I say happily.
I make sure he gets some green veggies too, as much as he doesn't want it. Today was broccoli.
"Let's eat!" I say. He scrambles to the kitchen and grabes his plate and sippy full of lemonade.
"Oh can't forget!" I say putting a bib around his neck. He sighs but is a good boy.
"Mama this yummy!" He says with his mouth full of food. He had sauce all around his mouth.
"Messy baby," I say wiping off his face with his bib. He smiles at me. I kiss his forehead. I love him.
"Eat your veggies baby," I say.
"Nu uh! They yucky!" He says. I raise my eyebrow.
"But if you don't eat your veggies you can't have a cookie!" That grabs his attention. He eats his broccoli without a peep. I ruffle his hair and laugh.
"Cookie now? My plate all clean! " He says showing me his plate.
"It is, good boy! Chocolate chip or M&M?" I ask. He taps his chin while he thinks.
"Chocolate chip!" He decides. I bring him his cookie, which ends up on his face too.
"You're gonna need to be cleaned up after this," I say. Leo blushes and I melt.
Once he eats his cookie I take a wash cloth and wipe off his face with it. He he sits still like a good boy.
"You're definitely getting a sticket today! Good boy!" He smiles and gives me a hug.
My baby boy is my world.
