My alarm goes off and I roll out of bed. Its three AM. Leo is definitely asleep now. Time to put "Santa's" presents under the tree. We opened the presents we got each other on Christmas eve. Now its all on Santa. Santa is Leo's absolute favorite part of Christmas.
I go under my bed and pull out perfectly wrapped presents, knowing what's inside each. There's around six of them.
I bring them into the living room and place them around the tree with the others. When they look good I go to the kitchen and eat the cookies we made earlier. I smile reminiscing on the mess.
When the milk and cookies are gone I leave a note from "Santa". Leo is gonna eat it up! I get excited as I realize my boy is gonna be so happy. Last Christmas was small, we'd only been together for a few months. But this Christmas, let's just say I went all out.
When I was content with how everything looked I  brought out the big guns. I got him a play tent. A huge play tent. Its green and has little privacy curtains. He'll undoubtably put all his stuffies in there and have tea parties with them. I sat in the living room attempting to put it together. I want him to see it as soon as he comes out here. I get it assembled and take a step back. Its amazing. Leo will love it.
Then I went back to bed. My clock said four AM. Leo's so excited he could be up in as little as two hours. Let's just hope not

                      Leo
I awaken before the sun comes up, the sky a weird gray color. I instantly know what day it is. Christmas!
"Mommy wake up!" I say loud enough for the baby monitor to easily pick up. Mama says no getting out of the crib by myself, I'm too little! I hear footsteps coming down the hall and soon enough mommy is in my bedroom, Clover at her feet.
"Good morning my little prince. Are you ready to open presents?" Mama asks knowing my little heart is dying to. In response, I make grabby hands at her.
"One minute I'll let you out, cutie." Mommy says helping me out of my crib.
"Present time?" I ask mama ready to run off.
"Not yet mister, you need a diapee change!" she says. I huff but get onto my changing table. She puts me in a Bambino classico then puts me in my Christmas onesie. I climb off the table then mama let's me run to the living room.
The first thing I see is a giant play tent, and if I wasn't feeling regressed before, I sure am now!
"Mama! I gots a play tent! Santa brought me a play tent!" I say rushing into it. Its huge!
"I gonna put all my stuffies in it! And then we can play!" I say imagining it. I hear mama giggle and I wonder why.
"Ready to open the rest of your presents?" Mommy asks. I almost forgot there were more! I get excited all over again. I crawl out of the tent and grab the closest present to me.
Its small and round and when I shake it a rattle sound comes out. I tear off the wrapping paper and see a dino rattle!
"Mama look! Its a rattle!" I say giving it a shake then giggling. I turn to see mommy recording me. I stick my tongue out at the camera. Its definitely going on her instagram story, but I don't care. We have a tendency to post each other.
"Do you like it, baby?" she asks. I nod and give it another shake.
The next present felt soft. When I rip open the wrapping paper I see a onesie! It's white with a yellow trim and says "its a boy" all over it.
"Its a onesie!" I say showing mama. She looks it over.
"That's gonna be so adorable on you!" she says. I become blushy quickly so I sit back down and open the next present.
It feels soft too. I tear open the paper and its a pair of cargo shorts. Perfect for little boy days!
"Ooohhh! Mama look! Shorts!" I say with excitement. She likes them too.
The next thing is two shirts. One says "I love my mommy" the next have airplanes on it. They're both so cute! And they can be paired with the shorts.
The next onesie I got had dinos on it!  it made me so happy!
"Mommy look! Dinos!" I say. She took my picture with it then I opened the last present. It felt like a toy. When I peeled back the paper I saw a train! The train was long and the cars had numbers and letters. I take it out of the box and start playing with it.
"Do you like it, baby? Mama asks.
"Yes mommy! I wanna play right now!" I say ready to bring everything to my room.

"Not yet! We have to clean up the living room," mama says. I take a look around and see wrapping paper everywhere. I made a mess again
"I'll help!" I say attempting to pick it all up and put it in the garbage bin. Mommy walks behind me and picks up what I drop, which happens to be about half of the paper. When I throw it all away I realize the cookies I left for Santa are gone!
"Mama look! The cookies are gone!" I say running to look at the empty plate. When I get over there I see a note.
   "Look a note!" I say.
   "Read it!" Mama says excitedly.
"Have a good Christmas Leo! From Santa!" I say happily. Mommy smiles and ruffles my hair.
"Aren't you glad you made the nice list?" She asks me.
