"Wait what?", my mom said as she leaned on the counter.

"No joke dude-out of no where!! Ryan and I are just chillin, and then I heard the knife go down, and Roy yell", I said as I grabbed a Coke out of the fridge then closed it.

I was about to open it just stopped and stared at the ground.

"Ya know what?", I pointed at my mom."When he walked away with the towel around his hand-he looked pissed as Hell."

"Well, yeah-if some guy started making out with the girl I liked in my workplace-yeah I'd get pissed if I was Roy too", Rachel scoffed.

"Rachel",I gritted.

"Oh so you were making out with him?", my mom smirked and crossed her arms.

I glared over at Rachel then bent down next to her.

"Don't you have a sandbox to go play in?", I growled.

"Alright-alright-honey, it's not that big a deal", Mom sighed as she pushed us apart."Just wish it was Roy you were making out with."

I rolled my eyes as she walked away then turned to Rachel again.

"How the hell did you even know about that?", I asked.

"Word travels fast", she sighed as she walked passed me and into the kitchen.

To this I just rolled my eyes again then my phone went off in the kitchen.

When I walked in, I grabbed it then saw Ryan had texted me.

R: Hey do we have to do that obnoxious thing where couples wear matching ties and dresses and shit like that?

I laughed then shook my head and went to type back.

Me: Oh God no-have you met me? Of course not!

Almost as soon as it sent, he read it and started typing back.

R: Thank God-I hate couples like that
