and so the cure was lifted from the skies and through the heavens, never to be seen, used, or spoken of ever again
-proverb 35, The Uncured.
nobody ever knew why the cure was canceled. some cureds even committed suicide, thinking the world would lose its immunity against the disease.
so the cureds escaped, thinking the cancel from the government would release the delirium of Love and would drive them insane. they didn't know how powerful Love is. they were dying slowly, not caring about anything. they never even loved themselves. tests showed that if we want to continue the race of humanity, then we have to care. we can't care if we were cured from Love.
-the escaped, by Amanda Dee.
What we don't know is the Invalids stopped this. Everyone was taught, before the Cancel, that Invalids were sociopaths that were all carrying the disease, and were all executed during the Blitz, where the government bombed every single invalid who escaped to the Wilds.
Not everyone died though.
Some escaped further, and some joined from the outside. My mom, and my older sister Lena had. My oldest sister, Rachel, however, was cured.
This is the story of how I led the rebellion.
