Mitch's POV
I was waiting outside Kirstie's hotel room. It was three o'clock in the morning. Where could she be? I was so worried about her...
Suddenly, I saw her walking down the hallway. Was she... crying? "Kirstie!" I said, running towards her. "Is something wrong?"
"Mitch! Um... n-no, everything's fine." She said. She sniffled.
"Are you sure?" I asked, putting a hand on her shoulder. Ow! It was freezing cold! I pulled my hand away quickly. "Kirstie, you're freezing! Come on, we need to get you warmed up."
She looked like she was going to object, but I didn't let her. I grabbed her hand, trying to ignore the cold. She was like ice...
"Here, give me your key." I said. She pulled her hotel key out of her purse and handed it to me. I quickly pushed it into the unlock thingy and walked into the room. "Lay down, Kirstie." I said. She obediently got into bed while I opened the closet and grabbed extra blankets.
"Mitch, really, I'm fine." She said. I shook my head and carried the blankets over.
"Under the covers." I ordered. She sighed and kicked her shoes off before climbing under the blankets. I wrapped the extra blankets around her and then crawled into bed next to her, wrapping my arm around her shoulders.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"I want to make sure you get warm," I answered. She sighed and snuggled up to me, resting her head on my chest. "You wanna rent a movie?" I asked.
"Sure... I guess..." she said, yawning. I chuckled.
"Sleepy?" I asked.
"A little..." she whispered. I rented We're The Millers, a movie that we'd seen a million times before. About a half hour into the movie, Kirstie fell asleep.
She was so cute...
