Zach and I split up after we got in. "Julie, can you hear me?" Zach asked through our earpiece. I lifted my hand up to my ear as discreetly as possible and replied "Yeah, I can hear you."
"Just make sure that your recorder is functional. We need to record everything he says." I checked the recorder cautiously before going towards the bar. I sat on one of the bar stool and ordered a drink. "Give me a screw driver." I looked over my shoulder and scanned the room. It was like any normal club except that the people here were either rich, famous, or influential. Waiters strolled around to offer food or drinks. Some people huddled in groups talking about politics and what not.
"You're not supposed to drink." Zach said through the earpiece. I smiled as the bartender placed my drink in front of me. "Don't worry it's just a light drink. Besides, it would make me seem conspicuous if I don't order a drink." I muttered as I took a sip. I turned around just as our target walked in. He walked to the VIP section with two bodyguards trailing behind him. When he was seated on the velvet cushion, he started watching the busy bodies gyrating and grinding on the dance floor. "Show time." I muttered to myself.
I finished my drink and made my way to the dance floor. I picked a spot in the middle where he could easily see me and started swaying my hips with the music and gradually danced sensually as sin. I moved my hands down my body and hiked my dress up a bit. When he took notice of me I made my dance more daring. As we made eye contact I smiled at him mischeiviously and gave him a naughty look.
He seemed entertain by this so I made my moves more lively entertaining and midly titillating. I was sweating slightly when the music finished. I stopped and gave him a tantalizing look. I headed back to the bar and ordered another drink.
"What are you doing? Go back! You already got him." Zach said. I leaned on the counter of the bar and secretly placed a finger on my ear. "Just trust me on this." I murmured. When my drink came one of his bodyguards came up to me and said "Miss you are requested by over there in the VIP area by Mr. Hopkins." Forcing a smile, I turned to him and nodded. He motioned me to follow him so I did.
We stopped right outside the VIP quarters. "Here she is, Mr. Hopkins." the man said. He stepped aside and gave me a full view of my target. He was seated comfortably, a glass in one hand and a cigar in the other. I noticed that the bottle of whiskey on the table beside him was almost empty.
I smiled. That was going to make my job easier. He motioned for me to go closer, and I did. "I must say you were amazing on the dance floor." He started before taking a sip on his drink. Since I'm horrible at flirting I'm jut going to go with my instincts. "Not really, I'm really quite horrible at it." I said. He grinned showing off his gold tooth. "Not true, I'm afraid. You did great out there."
I smiled flirtatiously. "Do you really think so?" He nodded as he finished his drink before pouring another. "Do you want to sit?" I grinned and sat closely beside him, making sure that my breast was touching his arm. This action was not lost to him, in fact, he smiled broadly and placed a hand on my thigh.
Loud music played again and people started dancing. "What's your name, darling?" He asked. I paused and thought of a name. "Hana." I shouted through the loud music. He leaned towards me and said "Do you want to go someplace quieter?" I beamed at him and nodded.
He motioned me to follow him. We went towards a door near the bar. He opened the door for me. As I enter I learned that it was a private room. It had a long couch and a table in the middle. "Guard the door. Tell me when Luca arrives." He told his bodyguards.
When we were seated, he continued drinking. Seriously, how much alcohol can this old man drink? But it wasn't long before he became intoxicated. He started telling me about his business ventures and other things I couldn't care about but I just smiled and continued my flirting. When he said things that didn't made sense anymore I started to ask him questions.
"Who is Luca?" I asked in a sultry voice. He smiled and ran his hand up and down my thigh. "He's a business partner of mine." I raised a brow. "Really? What kind of business?" He looked at me and said "All kinds."
"Are you meeting him today?" I asked running my fingers up his arm. He nodded while drinking. "Why?" He put down his glass and grinned. "We're conducting a million dollar transaction." His hands went higher than expected so I removed it. He seemed unfazed by this so I continued to ask. "What is it about?"
"He's buying sixty pounds of heroin from me." My eyes widen in shock. Sixty pounds of heroin? That's around two million dollars! "When is that going to happen?" I asked in a sweet voice. He paused to think. "On the tenth, next month." He looked drowsy so I made him drink one last glass of scotch before he succumb into deep sleep.
As I stood up, I pressed a finger on my earpiece. "Did you get that?" I asked Zach. "Yeah, I did. Now get out of there so we can go." I was about to walk out When I heard talking outside. I stayed quiet and tried to hear what they're saying.
"Mr. Luca," one of th guards said. "Boys, where is Robert?" He asked. Panic shot through me. I didn't know what to do. A knock on the door made me stop fiddling. "Mr. Hopkins, Mr. Altenor is here." a voice said. I quickly looked at Robert. I couldn't let them see that he's passed out and I'm not. I saw the doorknob twist slowly. I'm so dead. A second later, an idea passed through me. It wasn't exactly all that appealing but it's better that nothing. I closed my eyes and silently prayed for my plan to work.
"Hmm. Oh, yeah." I moaned. The doorknob stopped twisting and everybody became silent. I continued to moan and groan. It seemed to work because they didn't try to enter. "Julie, what the hell are you doing?" Zach asked a momet later. He must've heard me through the earpiece. This is so embarassing. I might as well have died out of embarrasment but I have no choice. I continued to pretend as if we were fucking. I groaned louder until someone snickered. "Seems like Robert is busy. I'll comeback later."
I sighed in relief. I walked over to Robert and opened a few buttons on his button down shirt. I also messed his hair and placed a kiss mark on his collar bone. It looked convincing enough. I messed my hair a bit and smudged my lipstick. I also downed a glass of scotch to give me an alcohol smell. I seriously hope this works. I opened the door. Both of his bodyguards tried to keep a straight face as I passed by. Zach saw me and headed at the entrance and got the bellboy to fetch our car.
When our car arrived I quickly hopped in. He started the engine and drove away when he asked "What the hell happened in there?" I told him what exactly happened and before I even finished he was already laughing. "Don't laugh! It's not funny!" He glanced at me with a huge grin. "It is funny."
"Jerk!" I slumped back on my seat. "But atleast we got our information." He said. I nodded in agreement. "Sixty pounds." I murmured. "Yeah. That's two million and two hundred fifty thousand dollars." I looked out the window. I won't let Luca Altenor get away with those.
We got to my place around 10:30 pm. I slumped down the couch. "I'm so tired." I drawled. Zach smiled at me and handed me a glass. "What's this?" I asked. "Wine. For a job well done." I rolled my eyes and took a sip. "You didn't even do anything." I said. He shook his head and laughed. "Hey, I tried so hard to keep those bodyguards from hearing your conversation. And I had to stall Luca Altenor, you know."
"How did you stall him?" I asked. He smiled as he drank. "I made sure that there was traffic on the way to the country club." I looked suspiciously at him. "And how did you manage that?" He shrugged and said "By paying a drunkard to crash his car into another creating a disturbance." I laughed. "You're crazy."
He smiled against his glass. "Crazy for you." I shook my head. "Idiot." I stood up and swayed a little causing me to lose my balance. Luckily he caught me on time. "A little tipsy are we?" He asked teasingly. "I'm fine."
"Okay, I'll be heading out now." He said. I stopped him before he even reached the door. "You can stay if you want." I offered. He raised his brow at me. "Why?" I shrugged. "It is getting late and your place is far from here. And since we both have classes tomorrow, you need sleep." He smiled at me. "Okay. Am I going to be sleeping with you?"
I rolled my eyes and threw a pillow at him. "Your sleeping at the couch." I laughed before retreating to my bedroom.
