TW: Inffered Suicide
As I walked to WildKat, I started to think. Could they really be the same person? Who even is V? Could he be working for Bates? And who even is Akane? Why was she stalking me the day of the shooting? My mind was going a mile a minute, but that train of thought was interrupted by a voice.
"Neku! Over here!" I looked to see Shiki standing at the entrance of the cafe waving her hand.
"Hey, Shiki!" I replied as I ran over
"Did you get my text last night?"
"Yeah, I did"
"I mean, It could just be a total coincidence..." She started to trail off
"He's here night now if you wanna talk to him"
As we went inside, Shiki was right, There V was, typing on his laptop as usual.
"Hey, V. Neku's here"
V moved his head away from the screen full of white letters and numbers.
"Oh, Hey"
"Also...We were hoping to ask you something" Shiki looked over at me then back at V.
"We were wondering...you know by like any chance..just curious if you were-"
"If you're asking if I'm the so-called 'internet star' from the prince's blog or whatever his name is, then yes, I am"
Shiki and I stood in stunned silence
"Wait...Really?" I joined in
"Yeah, It's not really a big deal, I don't really see why people think it is"
"Not a big deal!?" Shiki erupted
"Prince F'ed you!"
V was silent for a moment
"What...?"
"He F'ed you, that mean's your Shibuya's latest trend!"
"Okay, cool" V said bluntly before going back to his computer screen "I don't get why it's such a big deal."
"As much as I hate to admit it, It kinda is. I knew this ramen shop that was going out of business but then Prince F'd him and now he has steady business." I added
"Really?" V asked as he turned his head back to us.
"Yeah, so you're probably going to get a lot of money from ad revenue."
"Wow..." V whispered to himself before mumbling things under his breath. I couldn't understand what he was mumbling, his mask made it sound like muffled static.
Soon everyone came and we split up into groups, I went with Shiki again today. Today's mission was nearly same as the last. We finished up around 3.
"I think that was the last one." I said as I bent over breathing heavily
"Yeah" Siki replied breathlessly
"Hey! Shiki!" someone yelled
I looked over to see who was calling her. I was suddenly hit with memories of my past.
"Oh, Eri!" Shiki called back
"Funny seeing you here" Eri looked behind Shiki to look at me
"Oh, who's he?"
"Oh, this is Neku"
Shiki looked back at Shiki with a hint of mischief in her eyes as a devilish smile played on her lips
