I walked down the crowded street to the crossing. As I did, I couldn't help but think about V's confession. I want to help her, I really do. But how can I? I'm barely in a functional mental state right now. But, I can't think about that right now. I have more urgent things to think about, like how I'm going to get out of this hellish game or where the hell are those people I'm supposed to meet? The scramble was flooded with people, as the usual. Sucks that she didn't tell me what the people look like. Did she even say to meet at the scramble? I flipped open my phone to double check. "I'll have my assistants Miki Akemi and Akira Futabatei meet you at the Scramble Crossing at 12:30PM." Yep, they're here. But where the hell are they. I scanned the crowds. I really wish I had a description. Just then, I overheard some bickering among the mummers of cellphone calls and talking.

"Do you see him?"

"No, I can't see anyone who fits the description."

"Ugh, why did she give us a description instead of a photo!? It's gonna take forever for us to find a specific person in a crowd like this!"

I then felt a force against my back. I stumbled a bit. After regaining my balance, I looked behind me to see what fell against me. I saw a short guy with fluffy black hair wearing what looked like a school uniform with a startling pair of small black wings.

"S-sorry sir!" He apologized in a shaky voice with a noticeable stutter as he looked down.

"It's fine."

"Akira, are you okay?" A girl, taller than him, came over. Her hair was in high pigtails, split down the middle, and was oddly colored, with one-half pink and the other blue. They same was for her eyes. Another alarming thing about her was a pair of small black wings fluttering gently on her back She wore a frilly pink dress and a blue jacket and white thigh highs with a small pink bow in the front. Why the hell is she wearing a jacket and thigh high socks in the middle of summer? She looked familiar, where have I seen her before?

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." He replied.

"Sorry about that!" She smiled at me apologetically.

"It's really okay..."

She smiled before widening her eyes a bit and scanning me up and down. I looked at her in confusion. She looked down at a scrap of paper she was holding then back at me.

"Hey, are you Neku Sakuraba?"

"Um, Yeah...? Why are you-"

"Yes! We found him! Akira we found him!" She cut me off as she exclaimed loudly.

"Are you sure it's him, Miki?" He walked over to her and looked at the scrap of paper. From where he was standing I could see a strange pair of blue and green eyes looking at paper behind a pair of black thick-framed glasses.

"Totally, he fits the description to a T!" She looked back at me with eyes glimmering with confidence.

"Do...Do I know you guys?"

"Oh my god! Where are our manners? I'm Miki Akemi, and the guy who just crashed into is Akira Futabatei."

"I-I can introduce myself, Miki..."

"I'm just helping you out."

Akira fumbled with the bottom of his blue sweater vest.

"Anyway, we need to take you to Yoko, she's waiting for you!" Miki grabbed my wrist and pulled me through the crowds.

"M-Miki! Wait!" Akira ran after us.

"We're here!" Miki chirped as she pulled me in front a restaurant called 'Mexican Hot Dog'.
