So that this makes sense, just remember that this is an AU. Nothing here has to fully match the show.

Bex walked through the crowded streets in the large city. This was finally her chance to see Renaissance Boys playing I'm concert.

She made her way to the front of the crowd, to just take it all in. The host walked up on stage. Her voice boomed through the crowd. "Ladies, gentlemen, and all you older folk who pretend to be young! It is my honor to introduce the Renaissance Boys!"

Music started to echo through the speakers. Drums started to play, a singer began to vocalize, but then... she heard it.

A certain guitar began to play. She looked to the left of the stage, and there he was. Bowie Quinn. A few seconds later, their eyes met, and it was such a cliche. Time stopped, the rest of the world faded away, and it was just the two of them.

The rest of the concert, Bowie did his absolute best, and Bex couldn't help but think it was because of her.

———

"Please sir! I have a friend in this band!"

"Yeah, yeah." The security guard said. "And the drummer is my second cousin. Look, ma'am. I'm sorry, but unless one of the members comes and lets you pass, I'm not allowed to let you backstage."

Bowie's soft voice spoke. "Warren. She's telling the truth. Let her through."

The guard nodded. "Very well." He unhooked the rope and Bex ran to Bowie. They shared a hug.

"I can't believe you're here!" Bex said. "I thought you moved, but now I'm finding out you've been touring with the Renaissance Boys!"

"Yep. Eight months ago was when I started."

Bex touched her stomach. "Remember what happened eight months ago?"

"We had a moment?"

"That's not all we hand." She rubbed her stomach.

Bowie's eyes widened. "We had a baby?!"

"Two! Bowie! We're having twins!"

"This is awesome! Wait, do you have cravings?"

"Baby taters."

"I know a great place we could go. Come on!"

"What about the band?"

"They'll be fine." Bowie took Bex's hand and led her through the street.

———

"We just gotta go to the bank first, and then we can go."

Bowie went to the ATM, and took out a $50 withdrawal. Bex waited around the corner, and saw a family getting mugged. "Just give me the money, and I won't shoot your daughter!"

"Hey!" Bex shouted. "Get away from that family!"

The man aimed and fired at Bex. Soon after, everything went black.

—————

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

Bex's eyes finally opened. Bowie smiled in relief. "Oh, thank goodness you're okay."

Bex smiled weakly. "What about the family. Are they okay?"

"Yeah. But the robber got away."

"That's fine. The family's alive."

The doctor walked into the room, with tears in her eyes. "Miss Mack. This really isn't easy for me to say."

"It's fine. You can take your time."

She sniffled. "The bullet was successfully removed, but there are some long term effects."

Bex looked fearful. "Like?"

She showed a picture of an ultrasound, and began to tear up even more. "You're only having one baby."

"You mean..." The doctor nodded immediately. Bex whispered, "Can you give us the room?"

"Of course." The doctor walked out, wiping tears from her eyes.

Bex began to sob. "I can't believe it. This can't be happening!"

Bowie hugged her. "This isn't easy. I know."

"How are you not crying? This kid was yours too."

His eyes watered. "Believe me. It's taking all my strength not to cry. But, we are going to get through this. We will raise this wonderful kid, together."

"What about the band?"

"This was the last concert of the tour. I don't have any more performances."

Bex kissed Bowie's soft lips. "Then, yes. We'll raise her together."

"What's our little girl's name?"

"Andi." Bex smiled. "Her name's Andi.

Did I make you cry? I'm assuming I did, because no offense, you Wattpad readers do tend to get pretty emotional. Not to say I don't cry, it's just... I don't overreact with every little statement. Was that too rude? Okay, I'll stop talking now.

Anyways, hope you enjoyed the one shot.
