"God damn it! Yesterday was a total failure!" Chuya barked.
"So what now?" She glanced at the mad redhead nonchalantly, unfazed by his fury.
"What else? We continue attacking them until we succeed!" Chuya sighed. "If only our boss could give us another mission instead."
"I'll kill everyone in that room and make sure that Dazai-san acknowledges me," Akutagawa muttered. (Y/n) and Chuya could see that he was fired up. His concentration was admirable, but also utterly terrifying.
"Dazai again?! You're always "Dazai, Dazai" all the time. Geez, what's so good about that traitorous jerk?" Chuya's eyebrows twitched.
"Traitorous?" She asked.
"Yeah. He's a former Port Mafia Executive working alongside me and was Akutagawa's superior. But one day he just ditched his mission and appeared as our enemy," Chuya clenched his fist.
Akutagawa continued explaining for Chuya.
"He was known as the youngest executive in Port Mafia's history and the demonic prodigy of the guerrilla squad. I was brought into Port Mafia by him and trained under him. But, he wouldn't even acknowledge my strength," Akutagawa gritted his teeth. He was seething with fury.
(Y/n) was confused.
Dazai?
Port Mafia Executive?
Him?It doesn't make any sense. She tried picturing Dazai as a fearsome Port Mafia Executive based on their explanation but all she could imagine was his big, idiotic grin.
"Ugh. Let's stop reminiscing the past. Any past with that mackerel is always hateful. Let's get back to the main point," Chuya interrupted. They agreed.
"So... Time for plan B, huh? I really don't want to," She scratched her head and stood up from the chair. Turning around, she headed for the door, her black trenchcoat fluttering behind her. The other two mafiosi right on her heels.
"Yeah."
"But must I be the decoy? I don't want to see that stupid jerk's face again," She whined.
"OH GOD DAMN IT, can you stop complaining?! Use your head! That bastard doesn't know you as well as us! You being the decoy is our only option, you idiot!" Chuya bellowed, poking at her forehead repeatedly.
"Fine! Fine! Fine! Just! Fucking! Stop!" (Y/n) yelled when Chuya continued to poke her forehead. "LIKE SERIOUSLY, STOP IT."
"Tch."
She scowled. Chuya then slapped a hand on her shoulder. Akutagawa held her other shoulder in a talon-like grip.
"Don't let me down okay?" Chuya smirked.
"I'll kill you if you fail." Akutagawa threatened and gave her a murderous glare.
"I won't." She grunted. Both of them had high hopes for her. The plan was risky, so she cannot fail. Or rather, must not fail.
"Ugh. Stupid decoy." She grumbled as she faced the familiar brick building. She felt a tinge of guilt for causing the building to be under heavy reparation.
But, it isn't my problem, so why should I care?
(Y/n) hummed a tune. If the information that Akutagawa gave her is true, Ranpo should currently be investigating a crime scene, Dr Yosano is out shopping, Kunikida is attending to a client and the two perverted siblings aren't in the office. That leaves Atsushi, Kyouka, Dazai and Kenji.
Huh. Not bad. This should be easy.
She just had to make sure that the countryside boy eats the food Chuya snuck into his office desk with his powers and wait until he falls asleep. It was lunchtime anyway. He should be starving. Then she'll have to distract Dazai.
