Short chapter of Chuya, Akutagawa and you bickering like siblings and snippet about your past ;)

"(Y/n) wake up."

"Oi, (y/n) wake up!"

"Hmm?" She stirred drowsily. "What is it Chuya-san?"

It took a long moment for reality to finally hit her and she hastily brought her hands up to her face. "I'm alive..."

"Hah? What are you talking about? Of course you're alive," Chuya asked, confused, before continuing. "Alive with a broken leg that is. Your right leg is all bruised up. How did you even injure yourself?"

"I...attempted suicide by jumping off a building," She sighed.

"Tch. And who was the one who said 'she'll be fine' eh?!" Chuya asked nobody in particular whilst pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Where the hell are we?" She asked, rattling the shackle that was chained to her ankle. "The mafia really have a fetish for chaining people up don't they?!"

"In the Port Mafia's underground prison," Akutagawa replied uncaringly.

Suddenly, light poured from the doorway and the sound of heavy footsteps echoed.

"I see that you're all awake," Mori smirked as he stopped in front of their cell. "I believe that you all know what manner of fate awaits those who are imprisoned here."

"Execution," Chuya replied snarkily. "You planned this. Disappearing in the middle of a fight without a trace but leaving sleeping gas bombs in the vicinity beforehand. What's your problem?!"

"That's right," Mori drawled, paying no heed to the rest of Chuya's reply. "But if you agree to rejoin the mafia then-"

"In your dreams," (Y/n) interrupted.

"You should really reconsider (y/n)-chan. Your ability is of great use to the mafia," Mori frowned.

"Bastard. You're just using me. Think I'll fall for it twice? Think again."

"Assassination is in your blood, (y/n). You were born to kill," Mori's eyes glint darkly. "Your birth parents were outstanding assassins serving the mafia long before I took over."

"You know them?" She narrowed her eyes.
(Liar, liar, pants on fire.)

Akutagawa rested a hand on her shoulder and spoke, "Don't fall for his petty tricks (y/n)."

(I know.)

"Oh, I'm not lying. I have proof. It's in the mafia's history. If you're interested I can-"

"I'm not interested. Go away," She said icily.

"If you say so. But if you ever consider coming back to the mafia, do inform me!" Mori sauntered away.

"Fat chance," She snarled.

Nobody spoke after Mori left. A shadow seemed to loom over the trio's heads. It was unsettling.

"Bright ideas on how to escape, anyone?" She broke the silence.

"Forget it," Chuya yawned and stretched. "We'll probably be executed right on the spot if we try to escape."

"How do you know for sure?" (Y/n) retorted.

"I've been in the mafia longer than you, of course I'm sure!"

"Like I give a damn. I'm gonna try anyway."

"Stubborn."

"I'll take that as a compliment."

(Y/n) fished around her pocket for her phone, but she couldn't find it.

(It must have fallen out during the fall.)

"Chuya lend me your phone," Chuya flung the device towards her which she caught before it smashed into her face.

"The battery's flat, dumbass," Chuya snickered when (y/n) threw the device across the prison cell, barely missing Akutagawa.

"Aku-kun?"

"Don't call me that." The raven-haired male tossed her his phone.

"Blame your parents for giving you such long name," She rolled her eyes.

It wasn't long before she chucked another useless device to the side and grumbled, "There's no signal down here."

Chuya gave her a smug look, "Told you there's no chance of escape."

"You saying it makes me want to prove that we can."

"Well? Prove it."

(Y/n) turned around, her back facing Chuya. She was silent for a moment. But what she did next surprised both Chuya and Akutagawa — when she started banging her head on the bloodied wall.

"Think! C'mon, use your head!" She berated herself.

"Just use your ability, asshole," Chuya bit his lip, trying to stifle a laugh.

"I caused chaos, saved a girl, attempted suicide, broke a leg, got caught and you think I have the energy to summon my ability?" She took a deep breath before continuing, "And I had promised myself not to use my ability anymore. Use yours."

"...I'm tired too."

Chuya and (y/n) turned to Akutagawa who hasn't spoken since forever (exaggerated).

"They took my coat," Was his simple reply.

Only then did (y/n) realised that his usual long black coat was not draped around him. He's only dressed in a white dress shirt with ruffled hems and a white cravat and black trousers.

"But your ability isn't limited to just your coat right?"

Akutagawa doesn't respond. The stare that he gave her was more than enough of an answer. (Y/n) sighed, "Just pretend I didn't ask. But that means we'll just be stuck here till our deaths."

There was another sound of footsteps coming down the steep stairway. The clacking of heels made it obvious that their new visitor was a female.

But who?
