You're Back

Feelings Are Confusing

          Jay knocked on the door, only for him to hear a muffled "come in" from Hailey be said. He opened the door, and looked at the girl crying into her hands. Jay sighed and walked over to her, then looked at her.
         "Do you mind if I lay?" Jay asked, unsure if that was okay or not. It is her and her husbands bed.
         "N-no..." Hailey told him, and the boy sat down next to her. He wrapped his arms around her, as she leaned into him. She started to stop shaking from her sobs, as his arms held her close to him.
        "I'm so sorry..." Jay said, and the girl shook her head.
         "For what?" Hailey asked. He's done nothing wrong to her, so why should he be sorry?
        "That you're experiencing this" Jay said, and Hailey sighed.
         "It's whatever"  Hailey said, sighing of defeat. She didn't want to deal with this anymore, but sadly she had to.
         The two stayed cuddled up in each other's arms for a good hour or two. The two were silent, until Jay couldn't help himself and he started to beat box. Hailey smiled, and watched as he did so. Jay blushed and continued on beat boxing.
         "I'm still impressed by that every time I watch and listen to you. Even though I've known you've done this for a while" Hailey said, and Jay stopped to smile at her.
         "Thanks Hails" Jay said softly, and placed a kiss onto her head. "Means a lot to me..." he said, trailing off thinking back to what Michael said earlier.
         "And you can have your rebound Jay lOOK OVER OUR CHILD BECAUSE YOU SEEM TO ONLY CARE ABOUT HIS UNTALENTED ASS" were the hurtful words kept spinning around in Jay's mind.
        "What's the matter?" Hailey asked, rubbing his arm to soothe him. Jay sighed, and looked at the girl.
         "I just keep thinking back to what Michael said about me" Jay told her, and Hailey groaned.
         "Don't listen to him! He's stupid and jealous" Hailey said, and Jay shook his head as tears formed in his eyes.
          "Jealous of what Hailey?!? He made it into the boy band! He's living his dream in front of the world! He's meeting his idols! He's married to you and has a baby with you! He's making hit songs thAT TOP ON ITUNES! WHAT COULD HE BE JESLOUS OF ME FOR?!?" Jay yelled, making Hailey move back from him. She gulped, and looked down.
          "T-there's a lot he could be jealous of Jay... he can't beat box like you can. He's not friends with everyone that you are. He's not home with his wife and daughter. He's not you Jay... he doesn't have natural beautiful eyes like you! He's not as tall and handsome as you!" Hailey pointed out, and Jay looked at the girl. She's right, Michael does have a lot to be jealous of.
         "You just called me more handsome then M-Michael?" Jay asked, a blush coating his cheeks now. Hailey blushed, and dug her head into his hoodie. He giggled, and played with the girl's hair.
         "I was just stating the obvious... and you knew- well I think you knew- that I liked you before Michael when Boy Band was on" Hailey said, and looked up at him. Jay looked into her eyes, and held her chin with his thumb and index finger.
       "You're beautiful Hailey" Jay told her, and she smiled at him. "You deserve the world, and I wish I gave it to you... but Michael's trying...I think" Jay said, and Hailey's eyes watered.
        "I-I still remember t-the day you and I kissed" Hailey told him, trying to change the subject. That sentence made the boy smile.
        "Me too" Jay said, and shook his head. "Wouldn't have happened if the idiot didn't hurt you, but what else is new? Anyways, I guess it's sorta a plus he hurts you" Jay informed her, making her curious.
       "Uh why?" Hailey asked, not seeing a positive in Michael hurting her.
       "Why? Because I wouldn't see you as often if it weren't for that" Jay said, and Hailey took his hand in hers and held it. Jay watched as she did so.   
        "What?" Hailey asked, and he shrugged.
        "Nothing" he said to her, and she smiled.
        "You're right, there is a positive to Michael hurting me... you're the positive in it" Hailey said as she booped Jay's nose making him giggle.
         The next morning, Hailey woke up wrapped up in Jay's arms. Jay was still sleeping, making the girl smile. He looked so adorable and peaceful while he was sleeping.
        Hailey got out of bed and walked over to Skylar's room. She smiled as she saw that her baby was sleeping peacefully. She walked out of the room and made breakfast for her and Jay, as well as warming up Skylar's formula.
        "Hey" Hailey heard from the hallway, making her jump. She looked over and saw Jay standing there, checking himself out in the mirror.
        Hailey giggled and took a picture of him, not knowing the flash was on. He turned around quickly to face her.
         "HEY!" Jay yelled, his voice raspy. Hailey giggled and smiled innocently. "You betTER DELETE THAT!" Jay said running towards Hailey. Hailey squealed and ran away from him, only for him to catch up with her.
          "NOPE!" Hailey said putting her phone high above her head, only for Jay to give her a 'really?' look.
         "I'm 6'3", you really think I can't reach that?" Jay asked with a smirk, and took her phone out of her hand. Hailey nudged him playfully, and walked back to the kitchen.
        "Must be nice being tall" Hailey said, and the boy shrugged.
        "It has it's advantages. Can I post this?" Jay asked, showing her the photo that she just took.
        "I thought you wanted to delete it?" Hailey asked teasingly, and turned off the stove.
       "Well, I think I look dope so I'm gonna post it" Jay said, and Hailey shook her head with a smile.
       "Confident much?" Hailey asked, as she put plates down for the two and put the eggs on them.
        "Maybe? What's a good caption?" Jay asked, and Hailey walked over to him. She leaned her head on his shoulder, and took her phone back. She smirked at him, and he rose his eyebrow.
        "I have the perfect idea..." Hailey said, as she opened her Instagram app.
Hailey_18- look how good @jhypeofficial looks this morning 😍 even he thinks so since he's checking himself out! And it's great to have him back in my life!

Jay got the notification, and he started to blush.
"WOW! YOU EXPOSED ME!" Jay said, and started to tickle the girl. Hailey giggled and tried to slap off his hands. "But, I'll allow it.... this time. And it's good to have you back too" Jay said as he commented on her photo.

Hailey read Drew's comment and facepalmed. What the hell could he possibly want?
Drew- hey babe figured you'd want to see this in the early morning! We're heading to Cleveland soon! Concerts the 19th of June, hope to see ya there!😋

Hailey read the text, and blushed at the sight of Drew's abs. She observed them, and started to see him more attractive than she did before. Sure she's always thought he was, but without a shirt is defiantly a plus.
She shook her head, she has a husband she can't be like this. Well, nothings wrong with staring and commenting as long as she doesn't touch them, right?
