"The concerts tonight" Jay told Hailey, as she walked towards him in a hoodie and sweatpants.
"Mhm, I know" Hailey said, looking at him. "I'm going like this" she said, and Jay giggled.
"I think you should wear something cute" Jay told the girl, and she rose her eyebrow.
"Why? I'm so comfy" Hailey said with a whine, and Jay waved her off. He walked towards her and Michael's room and opened the closet door. He scanned through her clothes, and smiled.
"PERFECT!" Jay yelled, handing her a dress. Hailey gave him a look, she wasn't wearing a dress to the concert
"I'm not wearing a dress to a con-" Jay cut her off.
"Wear. It." Jay said demandingly and Hailey nodded not trying to start an argument with him. He probably had good intentions for this idea, she hoped anyways.
"Fineeeee" Hailey said, pushing the boy out of her room and closing the door. She looked at the dress, and tears formed in her eyes. It was the dress she wore on Michael and her's two year annerverisy. He took her on a drive and she had no idea where they were going.
"Where the hell are we going?" Hailey whined at the black haired boy in the drivers seat.
"I'm taking you somewhere you've never seen before" Michael told her, reaching over to her side of the car. He took her hand in his, and intertwined their fingers. Hailey smiled at this action, and sat back.
Once they got to their destination, Hailey was a bit confused. There was nothing here. Just trees and a road.
"Uh..." Hailey said, and the black haired boy giggled at her. He placed a kiss to her forehead, and took her hand in his.
"You look beautiful" he said, noticing her dark blue dress that was knee high, with peek-a-boo sleeves lining topped with sliver shoes.
"Oh hush" Hailey said, a blush now coating her cheeks. He lead her into the woods, making her a bit nervous, but she trusted him.
"Close your eyes" Michael directed her, and she did as told. The two kept walking, until she heard a ruffle of waves hitting a shore spark her interest.
"Can I open them?!?" Hailey asked the boy excitedly, and the boy kissed her cheek.
"Yeah" he said, and the girl opened her eyes. She gasped as she saw a lake shore, lit up with candles. There was a blanket on the sand, with a picnic setup for them.
"This is beautiful, thank you..." Hailey said to the boy, as she turned to face him. This night was going to be a special one, she could feel it.
A few tears fell down from her eyes as she remember that moment. Michael was more into dates, and spending time with each other back then. But she understands, he's in the biggest boy band touring the world right now.
She slipped on the dress, and opened the door. Jay was giggling as Skylar tried to walk towards him. Hailey watched in awe at her little one.
"She's really trying Hails" Jay told her, looking back at the girl. He gasped as he saw her dress. "W-w-wow you're beautiful... I mean always-b-but shit" he said, standing up to look at her.
Hailey blushed hard, and pushed the boy playfully. Skylar looked at her mom, and smiled. The girl smiled back at her daughter.
"Hi cutie!" Hailey said bending down, and Skylar giggled as she tried to waddle over to her mom. "Come on Sky, you can do it!" She said with a smile, opening her arms for her to walk into.
Skylar waddled over to her mom losing her balance, making Hailey rush over to catch her. The little girl gasped as she thought she was going to fall, but smiled as her mother caught her in her arms.
"I got you baby. I'm going to see daddy tonight..." Hailey said softly, and Skylar looked at her and to Jay. She stared at Jay, and Hailey gulped knowing what Skylar was thinking.
"Uh, Skylar I'm not your daddy if that's what you're thinking..." Jay said softly, and Skylar started to whine. Hailey sighed, and tears formed in her eyes. She's defiantly formed an attachment to Jay over theses few months.
"I can see why she thinks that. You're the only fath-" Hailey started, but stopped once Skylar started to try and speak.
"D-d-d-" Skylar stuttered out, and Hailey and Jay made eye contact. They were proud of her saying the word, but not about her saying that to Jay. "Da-daDA!" Skylar screamed out, and the two smiled and clapped.
"Good job Sky!" Jay said, clapping and looked at the mother. Hailey shrugged and slowly let go of Skylar.
"I'm going to uh, put on makeup and head to the arena... you sure you'll be okay with her?" Hailey asked, fully trusting him with her.
"Oh yeah! I love her!" Jay said with a smile, and Skylar giggled as she hugged Jay's leg.
"Dadaaaa!" Skylar spoke out, staring at the green eyed boy. Jay was defiantly her dad figure, and Hailey and him weren't going to stop her for believe that, now anyways. Even though Michael won't be okay with that.
Skylar watched as her mom picked up her purse, and walked towards the door. She made grabby hands to her and Hailey picked her up.
"I'll be back soon, okay? Have fun with Jay! I'm going to see dada" Hailey told her, and Skylar pointed at Jay.
"DADA!" Skylar yelled, starting to get mad at her mom.
"Don't use that tone with me Sky..." Hailey said softly, and Skylar whined.
"DADA!" Skylar yelled looking at Jay, who sighed and took her into his arms.
"I'll see you later Hailey, okay? Have a good time tonight. I hope Michael does something good... and fixes all of this" Jay said, before placing a kiss onto Hailey's forehead.
"Mhm, bye Jay! Bye Sky!" Hailey said before exiting her house and making her way to the arena.
Mid way through the show, Hailey and Michael made eye contact. Michael screeched into the microphone, making the other four boys jump back.
"Did you see a bee?" Chance asked teasing the boy with a giggle. Michael shook his head, and never split eye contact with Hailey.
"No... I just saw the love of my life" Michel said, and Drew looked at him.
"Uh, Hailey wouldn't appreciate-" Drew was cut off by Michael.
"Hailey's the love of my life... the light of my life, she's everything to me... and I-I just saw her in the crowd" Michael started, and Hailey's eyes started to water. She knew what was going to happen, and maybe the fans did too. But she's pretty sure, this wasn't a planned thing.
"Listen guys, I have to get something off my chest. I know you guys wanted an IRL show, but this needs to be said. You guys should learn from me, so it's a win win situation..." he said, as he let out a deep breath.
"Here we go..." Brady said, rolling his eyes at his bandmate. "Another sappy Hichael bullshi-" Brady stopped once he got yelled at.
"STOP IT BRADY!" Sergio yelled, making the blonde haired boy quiet down.
"Everyone makes a mistake in their lives, and I made a horrible one a few weeks ago... it hurt Hailey, and my daughter more than I could even imagine" Michael said, a tear rolling down his cheek.
"You guys all know I'm married to Hailey- I wouldn't change it for the world! We have a beautiful daughter, and I can't wait to see her when tours over!" Michael said, looking at the brown haired girl.
Hailey's vision started to become blurry from the tears welling up in her eyes. She rubbed her eyes, trying to make her see more clearly.
"Never give into peer pressure, it'll only hurt you and those who love you. The guys and I went clubbing, and I really didn't want to go! I told them no, but they forced me to go. Long story short, I got wasted... to the point I even introduce myself as Conor" Michael said, and the crowd gasped.
Hailey sniffled and a giggle soon followed. She knew how much he hated being called that, and I'm pretty sure everyone in In Real Life and their Lifelines do too.
"Someone stole my ring, and to this day I still don't know who it was..." Michael trailed off, staring at the boys on the stage with such rage. "This girl started to kiss me, and I kissed back- leading into us making out..." he said, a gasp from trying to catch his breath as fast as he could.
Hailey wiped away her tears that fell from her eyes. This wasn't something she wished he did on stage, but he's trying to give her the world. Well, that's what Jay said anyways.
"Moral of the damn story, I-I-I really hurt my wife- and myself- and my own daughter. Sure she doesn't understand what happened, but she knew her m-m-mom was hurting" he said, walking over towards Hailey's side in the crowd. "Don't g-give in to peer pressure to pl-please guys and don't "let loose"... you never know what the o-outcome will be..." he said into the mricophone.
Hailey watched as the black haired boy put the microphone back into the stand. He walked over towards the edge of the stage, and sat down. His feet dangled on the edge of the stage, as he looked down at the girl.
The two shared eye contact, and Hailey just wanted to touch him. She stood against the baracade, as the black haired boy jumped down from the stage. He cupped her cheeks, and looked into her eyes.
"I'm so sorry Hailey. I-I just- I can't even imagine how much pain I put you through" Michael said, and Hailey placed her hand on top of his.
"You don't even know how much pain Michael" Hailey said, and tears fell from her eyes that the boy quickly wiped away with his thumbs.
"I know... and I'm so sorry and I know sorry doesn't solve everything but I'm j-just so damn so-" Hailey quickly cut off his sentence.
"Finish the show, okay? Then we'll talk" Hailey said, taking his hands off her cheeks. Michael nodded, and walked back onto the stage, and looked at her.
The show ended and Michael sat on the edge of the stage once again. John let Hailey into the stage area once the arena was cleared out.
"Hey" Hailey said, as she moved his legs open so she could stand in between them.
"Hi babe" Michael said, closing his legs on her. Hailey giggled, and looked into his eyes.
"You're lucky I love you" Hailey said, and Michael blushed hard.
"I'm very lucky Hailey, and I love you too" Michael said, placing a stray hair behind her ear.
"Just kiss me damn it" Hailey said, and Michael giggled hard.
"When you say it like that I don-" before Michael could finish, Hailey grabbed his shirt and pulled him into her. Micheal gasped and the twos lips met.
The two shared a passionate, meaningful kiss. Hailey wrapped her arms around his neck, as he started to pull Hailey up into his arms.
Hailey giggled, as Michael pulled her up and laid back onto the stage. Hailey was now laying on top of the boy.
"You mean the damn world to me, babe. I love you so much" Michael said, and Hailey smiled at him.
"I love you so much more" Hailey said, and the two kissed again. The two started to make out on the stage, only to get interrupted by a squeal.
"OH MY GOD CAN YOU GUYS NOT DO THAT ON THE STAGE!?!" Chance yelled, and the two pulled away quickly. The couple were blushed up, and Hailey nuzzled her head into his neck.
"Listen were not doing that... at least not here" Michael said, and winked at his wife. Hailey slapped his shoulder and blushed hard.
"Stopppppp" Hailey whined at her husband blushing harder.
"So do you forgive me?" Michael asked, and Hailey nodded at him.
"Yeah... I do I just- I'm hurt..." Hailey said, still getting that stinging pain in her heart every time she thinks of it.
"How's Skylar? Has she learned any words?" Michael asked, and Hailey smiled and sat up on his lap.
"YES! BABE SHE LEARNED HOW TO SAY DADA AND SHE'S WALKING- well, kinda! She's trying, but sometimes she falls" Hailey said, giggling at the thought.
"Wait... how'd she call someone dada if I wasn't there?" Michael asked, and Hailey sighed.
"She calls Jay dada..." Hailey said softly, and Michael sat up, making Hailey slip a bit.
"Did you tell her that's not her dada?!" Michael asked, becoming frustrated.
"In a way..." Hailey said softly, and Michael moved Hailey off of him, and stood up.
""In a way"!? What kind of way?!!" Michael asked becoming jealous of Jay.
"I-I just let her say i-it cause he's basically the f-father like f-f-" Hailey tried to start, only for Michael to interrupt her.
"That's bullshit Hailey! You should've told her that he's noT HER FATHER!" Michael yelled, and Hailey's she's watered.
"I WASN'T GOING TO REPRIMAND HER ON MAKING AN ACCOMPLISHMENT MICHAEL! SHE SAID HER FIRST WORD!" Hailey yelled, and a tear fell rolled down her face.
"IT'S STILL WRONG DAMN IT! I CAN'T HELP THAT I'M TOURING THE WORLD AND OUR BABY IS ALONE WITH HER MOTHER!" Michael yelled, his fist balling up in anger.
"IT'S NOT WRONG! SHE'LL LEARN WHO REALLY IS HER FATHER WHEN YOU'RE BACK HOME!" Hailey yelled, her voice breaking.
"DAMN YOU HAILEY! WHY ARE YOU PARENTING HER WRONG?! THAT'S LIKE SAYING OH THAT'S NOT MY HUSBAND BUT CALL I'LL CALL HIM MY HUSBAND!" Michael yelled at her, and Hailey just couldn't help but cry hard.
"WH-WHT HAPPENED TO YOU?!?" Hailey yelled between sobs. "Y-YOU CHAnged- f-for the worst..." Hailey cried out, starting to talk softer. Michael watched her as she broke down. "So-so much for making up, r-r-right? All we do is fight, I can't do this" Hailey said running off backstage not knowing where she was heading.
She kept running, her eyes blurring her visions from the tears. She clashed into someone, and she didn't know who. But the person held her tight to him, and made her feel better.
"Shhh, I've got you..." he said softly, rubbing her back. "Shhh, shh" he said, as the girl poured her tears into his shirt. Hailey was starting to wonder if her marriage was worth it anymore.
