Michael arrived at the hospital, and went up to the front desk. His hands were shaking, and his hair was all over the place.
"Hi how may I-" the lady barely spoke before Michael interrupted her.
"Hailey Smith! Where is she???" Michael asked franticly, as he tugged at his hair. He only hoped she was awake and didn't pass out in the ambulance.
"Room 204" the lady said, and Michael mumbled a quick thank you before running towards the elevators. He pressed the up arrow over and over.
"ComE ON!" Michael demanded towards the elevator, still clicking the button. He tapped his foot anxiously, as the down arrow above the elevator lit up. He smiled softly as the metal door opened and he ran inside.
He clicked on the button number two, and clicked the close the door button. Probably as many times as he clicked for the elevator to reach the first floor. The doors closed, and he sighed of relief.
Finally the elevator hit the second floor, and he ran out of the elevator. He looked left and then right. He saw a sign that said "rooms 200-230", and he walked towards that direction. He finally found room number 204.
He walked in, and saw that Hailey was asleep. His eyes watered, and he walked in slowly. He sighed, and took a seat in the chair next to her bed.
"We always end up like this some how, don't we?" Michael asked, taking her hand into his. He held her hand and brought it to his lips to place a kiss on it.
Michael watched as the girl turned over in her sleep. He observed her, and noticed she didn't have anything wrapped around her head, which is a good sign.
The door opened, and a blonde haired nurse walked in. She made eye contact with the boy, and smiled at him.
"You're Michael Conor?" She asked, and the boy nodded. "My daughter loves you! Can you sign something for her?" She asked, as she walked over to check Hailey's viles.
"Uh, yeah sure..." Michael said, looking at his wife. "I-I-is she okay?" He asked, and the nurse nodded at the worried boy.
"Yeah she's fine. But, she just has a grade two concussion. It's not her first one, is it?" She asked, and Michael shook her head.
"N-no... uh, it was awhile back that she had h-her first one..." Michael said, tears falling from his eyes. "Sh-she'll remember me and her d-daughter r-right?" He stuttered out, scared of the outcome.
"It all depends on her when she wakes up... all you can do is hope she remembers" the nurse said before walking out. Michael sighed, and started to sob into Hailey's side.
"P-please remember me a-and Skylar babe" Michael said barely above a whisper. "Y-y-you're the love of m-my life. I-I need you to remember th-things... l-like how we met and just-" Michael couldn't contain himself, and he just sobbed harder.
Hailey shifted in her sleep, and Michael lifted his head up to look at her. Her eyes fluttered open, and she looked at her surroundings.
She saw Michael, and blinked a few times. He looked at her, and sniffled.
"H-hey..." Michael said softly, and kissed her forehead.
"W-w-why am I here?" Hailey asked, and Michael let out a deep breath.
"Y-you fell in t-the tour bus shower... w-we got hit r-r-remember?" Michael asked, and Hailey looked at him suspiciously.
"K-kinda..." Hailey said softly, and let out a sigh. "W-where's Drew?" She asked, and Michael stiffened.
"Why do you need Drew?" Michael asked, and Hailey sighed.
"He's my husband..." Hailey said, and Michael released her hand a bit.
"Wh-what?! No! I'm your husband... Michael..." the black haired boy told the girl, laying in the hospital bed.
"T-then why'd he see me in just my bra and underwear that night?" Hailey asked, and Michael perked up.
"What did you just say?" Michael asked, starting to become angry.
"I-I needed to take off my dress, and then he unzipped it and I slipped off my dress... and yeah" Hailey said, a yawn following.
"I don't know! But he's NOT YOUR HUSBAND I AM!" Michael yelled, and Hailey grabbed her head in pain, shutting her eyes closed tightly.
"Don't yell, it hurts" Hailey said, barely above a whisper. Michael let out a sigh, and took her hand back in his. He had too many emotions running through his body at once.
"I'm sorry..." Michael said, and a tear rolled down Hailey's face. He wiped away the tear, and kissed her cheek.
"I-it's okay..." Hailey said, looking back at the boy. He looked into her eyes, and they stared into each other's eyes for a while.
Michael wanted to say I love you to her, but he was scared. Did she even remember who he was to her?
"D-do you know who I am?" Michael asked, and Hailey looked into his artificial blue eyes.
"Michael Conor..." Hailey said softly, and the boy nodded.
"And...?" He said softly, and Hailey sighed.
"You're in a Boy Band... you rap, sing, play piano, violin ummm" Hailey said, trying to remember things. "Your real name is Conor Smith" she said and Michael took in a sharp breath.
"A-anything else? That's important... l-like our personal connection?" He asked, and Hailey smiled brightly.
"OH! Of course!!!!" Hailey said, a smile of hope forming on Michael's face. "You're my favorite in IRL! How could I forget that?" She said, bopping his nose.
Michael looked down, tears threatening to pour out of his eyes. How could she forget the most important person in her life? Unless, Drew was more important to her than her own husband.
