Stronger Eye Contact

All night Hailey was tossing and turning. She couldn't stand the fact that she cheated on Michael. Especially since the two are married. But he did it while they were married, so what's the difference?
Hailey groaned, and sat up in bed making Michael groan as well. She woke him up by her discomfort, and he wasn't too happy about it. He rubbed his eyes, and looked at the brown haired girl who was sitting up in their bed.
"What's wrong?" Michael asked, his voice raspy. Hailey sighed, and pulled at her hair.
"I-I keep thinking Michael! I can't sleep..." Hailey whined, her eyes watering. Michael was too tied to deal with it, so his attitude showed.
"Why don't you go to Jay and talk to him about it? I'm sure he's up, he'll help you!" Michael suggested angrily, and turned over.
"Thanks for being a caring husband..." Hailey said softly, getting up from her bed. She took her phone, and decided to take up Michael on that offer.
Michael watched as she left their shared room, and sighed. He wasn't making things better for the two, but neither was Hailey.
Hailey looked at the time on her phone, it was now 6:30am. Mine as well pull an all nighter since it's morning. She sighed, and clicked on Jay's contact name, and saw he was typing. She quickly clicked out of his name, and waited for his text.
Jay- goooddddd morning sunshine ☺️
Hailey- good morning Jay...
Jay- why the "..."?
Hailey- I'm pulling an all nighter... I couldn't sleep at all 🙃
Jay- why?
Hailey- I kept thinking about us and how I had an affair with you...
Jay- but isn't an affair only if you do it with someone?
Hailey- I thought so too, but that's wrong.
Hailey heard her phone ding, the same time as she heard patters of feet come running into the living room.
"MOMMA!" Skylar yelled, making Hailey shush her.
"Shhhhh! Daddy's still sleeping..." Hailey shushed her, making the girl giggle.
"Sowwy!" Skylar said, as she jumped into Hailey's arms, making her groan by the sudden action.
"How'd you know I was in here?" Hailey asked her daughter, who giggled.
"Dunno" Skylar smiled and then giggled. "I wanna eat!" She exclaimed, and Hailey nodded.
"Do you want some oatmeal? I'll make you some!" Hailey offered her almost one year old daughter, who nodded.
"Yeah!" Skylar said, as she followed her mom to the kitchen.
"Yes, please" Hailey said, correcting her child's manners.
"Pweasseee" Skylar said, giving her mom puppy eyes. Hailey giggled and turned on the stove, to start making oatmeal for her and her daughter.
Hailey heard footsteps coming into the kitchen. Skylar yelled "DADDY!", which Hailey knew Michael was now up.
"Good morning babe, do you want some oatmeal? I'm making Sky and I some..." Hailey said, not knowing where they stand at the moment.
"Yeah I do!" Michael said, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I'm sorry about last night" he said, placing a kiss on her cheek. Hailey smiled softly, and nodded at him.
"I'm sorry too" she said, turning off the stove, and pouring a bowl for the three of them.
Skylar was put into her high chair by Michael, as Hailey put the bowl down in front of her. She cooled it off a bit, and blowed on the spoon.
"Here comes the trainnnn" Hailey said, making Skylar open her mouth. She fed her, until Michael whined at his wife.
"I want to feed her!" Michael said, reaching for the spoon.
"DADDY FEED!" Skylar yelled, squirming in her seat excited. Hailey handed him the spoon, and he started to feed her.
"She's such a daddy's girl" Hailey said, and kissed both of their cheeks. "I'm going to shower" Hailey told her husband, making him look up at her quickly.
"Wait for me?" He asked, winking at her.
"I can't. I have to get ready for Jay and I's little get toget-" Michael chuckled and put Skylar's spoon down.
"Jay this, Jay that! Why don't you just divorce me and go on and marry him, Hailey!?" Michael asked her angrily.
"Because I'm married to you! I love you, not him! We're hanging out- you know I'm not gonna argue in front of Skylar!" Hailey said annoyed, walking to her room as she got a text message from Jay.
Jay- wear something hot 🤤
Hailey- oh yeah, cause that won't be obvious
Jay- put it in your car, change over here!
Hailey- Jay I don't know....
Jay- 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 pleaseeeeee
Hailey- fine I guess😒
Jay- see you soon baby
Hailey- 💞💞
Hailey finished getting ready, dressed in sweats and Michael's hoodie.
"I'll be back Sky!" Hailey said, placing a kiss on Skylar's cheek. She then looked at Michael, and smiled. "I love you Conorrrrrrr I'll see you soon" Hailey said whispering in his ear making him shiver.
"I love you too Hailey" Michael said as the two shared a quick kiss. Hailey whined as she grabbed his shirt collar and kissed the boy hard. Michael gasped at the action, and kissed her back harder.
Hailey pulled away, and waved goodbye quickly to the two before heading out.
Later that night, Hailey and Jay arrived back at his house. Jay giggled about how Hailey walked too slow since she was so tired.
"Shut upppp! I've been up for 24 hours now, okay?" Hailey asked out, tiredness hitting her hard now.
"You can crash here!" Jay offered, and Hailey already took off her black heels and laid on his bed.
"Good ideaaaaa" she said, looking over towards him. "Mmm, can I borrow some clothes?" Hailey asked, and the boy nodded and took out a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt.
The girl thanked him and went to his bathroom to change. Hailey came back, and his door was open. As she walked in, she saw Jay taking off his shirt and pants.
Hailey blushed, and bit her lip. Sure she's seen Jay like this many times, but now that he's gotten more muscular he's become a bit more attractive.
"Damn..." Hailey said softly, and the boy turned to face her.
"Thanks babe" Jay said, as he watched the girl lay on his bed. The boy followed suit, and laid down next to her.
Hailey laid her head on his chest, as he wrapped his arms around her. Her eyes started to flutter shut, and Jay rubbed her side.
She nuzzled her head more into his chest, becoming more comfortable. The boy chuckled, and kissed the top of her head. The girl looked up at him, and they made eye contact.
The eye contact was intense, stronger than usual. Usually it was just a quick thing, that neither of them felt. But this eye contact, made a rush go through both of their bodies.
"Damn, I wanna kiss you" Hailey admitted, and the boy chuckled.
"That's all you wanna do?" Jay asked, leaning in. The girl chuckled, and their lips attached. Before they knew it, they were full on making out in his bed.
"JAY GILBERT WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!??" A voice yelled, making the two pull away. This was one person, they didn't want to find out.
