No Going Back...

Chapter 6: Boyfriend,

As James and I ran out of the Cafeteria, hand in hand, Skyler, Kaley, and Hanna were waiting for us. The bell rang and we all say goodbye before heading back to class, "bye," James says letting go of my hand and starts to walk away, "hey! Don't walk away again," I say "I always do and you've never tried to stop me before," I yells back, "well today is different, I don't want you to leave." I realize that I want him to stay with me and protect me, and never let me out of his sight. "Well, I don't want to go..." He says and walks back, "but I have to, meat me after school and we'll go downtown or something, to you know, get your mind off what happened today." He. adds the last part quickly and then turns and walks away smiling, "ok..." I say smiling back but he's already to far away to hear me..........

~~~~~~After School~~~~~~

I wait outside the front door, I told Kaley earlier that I was going out and I'd be home late, I didn't tell her who I was going with, I don't need the whole school to think that we're dating. Although after what happened to day in the cafeteria I'm sure they already do. I hear the door open and James walks out, "hey," he says smiling "your ready to go?" He asks "ya, but where exactly are we going?" I say, he just said we were going downtown or something like that, "well, we could go to the park or, downtown, anywhere you want," he says thinking "the park sounds grate," I look down I haven't been to the park since my sister died, but I'm not going to think about that now, "ok then, the park it is!" He says and I laugh a little at his excitement. He takes my hand and we start walking, the park is only a 10 minuet walk from the school. Once we get there he leads me to under a tree and we sit, "I love this place," he says closing his eyes and resting his head against the tree, "me to..." I say and look up and the cloudy sky I feel a drop of water hit my forehead, James opens his eyes. He must have felt one to, "oh come on," he says and then it starts to rain heavily. We stand up and run into an ally way to get out of the rain, I start shivering. James takes off his jacket and puts it over my shoulders, my black hair is soaked and so is his. "Well, this isn't exactly how I thought our first date would go," he says "oh, so this is a date?" I say looking at him jokingly, "oh, well, I just...." He stutters "oh, shut up," I grab hold of his shirt and pull him in kissing him, I wrap my arms around his neck and he gives in, putting his hands on my waist, we brake apart "this is exactly how I thought our first date would go..." I say and he puts his arm around me well we wait for the rain to stop......
