chapter 5

Chris p.o.v. same day.

After we got done making love, we took a shower together and we made love all over again. Kandi and I ain't been together for a long time but I know I want her to be my wife some day, I'm welling to give the game up for her and Shay. We got out and we got dress Kandi stayed in the room and I went to check on Shay and them. She was looking at cartoons with Raven and Ally and my mom was knock out.

"Yo Raven can you give Shay?" I asked her.

"Sure bro." She said getting up and taking Shay with her. I picked up Ally and took her room. Then I wake my mom up, she look like she was have a bad dream are something.

"Mom you okay?" I asked her.

"No son I have a bad feel something is going to happen or already did." She said looking like she was about to cry. Nah my mom is not crazy but she just starting to get this feelings when her twin brother moved away.

"Mom its going to be okay." I told her and she looked at me and back to say something but her phone started ringing.

"Hello." She answered, I can hear a female voice on the other end crying.

"H-he killed himself." The female said.

"NO PLEASE TELL ME ITS NOT TRUE?" My yelled as the phone hit the floor and I picked it up.

"Who is this?" I asked.

"This is Jasmine John daughter." She said crying into the phone.

"Okay you talking to Chris now clam down and tell me what happen."

"Okay see its like this my mom passed away two days ago and I was coming to their house to check on my dad and get some letter from him that my mom had in her nightstand, I told my dad that he could come and stay with my twin sister and our kids if he wanted to, but he said he was good." She said but she stopped and started crying again. Damn that's a lot of shit to take in but when I was about to say something she went on. "We said our good byes and right when I walk at the door and was about lock the house up I heard a gun shoot. Chris I need y'all to come down so we can my mom and dad to rest please." She said.

"We'll be there text my mom you address we packing now, I'm sorry to hear this happened to you."

"Okay Chris." She said and we locked off. Now the thing with my uncle John and his wife been together for a long time and they have 3 kids John Jr, jasmine and Destiny. I haven't seen them in 2years and we stay in the same damn town, crazy right.

"Mom come on and let's pack so we can go help Jasmine." I said and she got up and I went in the room with Kandi and woke her up. "Kandi baby wake up." I said sitting on the bed.

"What is it baby?" She asked as I walked over to the closet.

"We have to go to my cousin's house." I said.

"Is everything okay baby?" She asked.

"No my uncle killed himself today." I said and she come over and hugged me.

"I'm sorry baby I'll go and get Shay ready so we can go." She said walked out the room. I locked the door behind her and I sat on the bed and cried to myself cause this was my only uncle and the only man in my life who showed me how to be a man and now he is gone. I heard Kandi at the door. "Chris baby open the door please." She said and I got up and opened the door for her. I looked at the time on my phone and it was only 9:30pm. We all got in my car and made my way to my my cousin's house, and when I looked at the address and it was about 3 blocks away from my spot house. Damn I didn't even know that. We pull up to her house and that hoe was big. We keep the bags in the car cause we not stay here we going to a hotel. My mommy knocked on the door and Jasmine opened the door and she looked like she at sleep in days.

"Y'all come in and make y'all self at home." She said and let us in.

"Aunt Jennifer." Some little kids yelled running to my mom and Shay looked pissed off cause she don't like my mom hugging other kids.

"Hey babies." My mom said.

"Jasmine can I talk to you in the kitchen?" I asked her.

"Sure thing little cousin." She said and we walked in the kitchen.

"Here take this and should help with everything."

"Chris thank you so much. Y'all are about the only ones who helped us on both side of the family."

"Damn, that's wrong but hay y'all have us. But you my big cousin let me let you met my girlfriend."

"I was about to asked you who she was. Who's baby?"

"Oh the baby is her sister and her mom passed away a year ago."

"Aw." She said looking like she was about to cry but she stopped the tears b4 they came down her face.

"You know its okay to cry right?"

"I know but I'm not ready to yet. Now come on so I can met your girlfriend and you can met your little cousins."

"Okay." I said and we walked into the living room and everyone was sitting down talking. "Kandi I would like you to met my cousin Jasmine, Jasmine his is Kandi and her little sister Da'Shay." I said.

"Hi, I'm sorry to hear about your mom and dad." Kandi said hugging Jasmine.

"Thanks, and I'm sorry to hear about you mother too."

"Thanks." Kandi said looking at Jasmine.

"Okay Jasmine I would love to met my cousins."

"Okay come on." She said and we walked over to the kids and she had twins and it a little baby looking at the TV. "The twins are mine and their names are Alexis and Alexander Jr. and this little fat baby here is Dee's daughter Maya." She said picking up Maya.

"Jazz who you talk......OMG GOD AUNT JENNIFER AND CHRIS." Dee yelled running down the stairs.

"Hey Dee Dee." My mom said hugging her and then she ran to me and jumped on me.

"Hey Dee bear." I said calling her the nickname that I gave her when I was 4 years old. She got down and looked at Kandi.

"Do I know you? Who cute little baby is this?" Dee asked looking at Kandi and Da'Shay.

"No you don't I'm Kandi Chris's girlfriend and this is my little sister Da'Shay." Kandi said.

"Nice to met you." Dee said.

"Okay we have to be going to a hotel." I said and Jasmine looked at me like she was about to slap the shit out of me.

"Nah y'all can stay here we have a lot of rooms here no need to pay for a room." She said walking over to me.

"You sure Jazz." My mom said.

"Yes auntie y'all are family and family stay together." She said and moms just broke down crying. Damn I don't like when females cry. So I walked to the car and got all our bags and went back in the house and everyone was walking up the stairs so I just went up behind them. "Okay aunt Jennifer you can stay in this room and Ally and Raven y'all can stay in this room and it has two beds so y'all don't have to sleep with each other and Chris you, Kandi and Da'Shay can stay in the room at the end of the hall and if y'all need anything its all in the closet in your rooms. I going to get the kids ready for bed the I'm going to sleep I have a busy day tomorrow. Goodnight and I love y'all and thanks again." She said and we all said goodnight. After I gave everyone their bag and made sure my mom got some rest. Kandi gave Shay her bath and had one herself. I take a shower and we all got in the bed and Shay was knocked out.

"I love you Kandi." I said kissing her.

"I love you to Chris." She said kissing me back and we went to sleep as a family.
