Chris p.o.v

I haven't been out this apartment since Kandi put me out and haven't talked to anyone but my kids and Jay been calling none stop. I called him back and he said he was on the way with my stuff for the house and he need to run stuff by me. I took a shower cause I need to make some runs. It was a knock at the door so I went and opened it and it was Monique.

"What you doing here?" I asked her.

"Cause yo ass not answering the phone." She walking into the living room.

"Cause I'm busy and I told not to come here that I was going to come to you."

"But you never did Chris." She said looking at me and was about to say something when someone knocked at the door.

"Go in the room." I told and she just went to the room and I opened the door and it was Jay. "What's up bro?"

"Yo ass is big time tripping you know that." He said putting my bags down.

"Man not you too."

"What the fuck you mean not you too. You cheat on your wife with some hoe you just met on a trip."

"Chill bro she in the room" I said and the look on his face said everything.

"Wow really dude."

"Chill Jay."

"Come on Chris I'm your best friend we like brothers, your mother would be so pissed at you for this shit."

"Okay Jay you pushing it now I said Chill."

"What you want me to lie and tell you this shit is okay. We have a business to run and you bring some outside hoe in the mix dude I'm only telling you this cause I love you nigga you my big brother and we don't need shit falling apart for us." He sad and I get where he is coming from.

"I get it bro but what can I do now she pregnant."

"Damn bro." Was all he said. Monique walked out the room and looked at me.

"Go back in the room Mo." I told her.

"No." She said rolling her eyes.

"Jay I'm go met you at the club give me a hour." I told him and he nodded and walked out and I locked the door. I walked over to Monique and she backed up. "Now I don't like to repeat myself when I ask you to do something."

"Chris you don't run me."

"See that's where you're wrong. The car you drive, the house you in and the money that's in your bank account is my shit and when I tell you to do something you do."

"I...." I cut her off.

"This is what you wanted right for us to be together?" I asked her grabbing her neck.

"Chris baby that hurt."

"Say sorry or all that shit going back."

"I'm sorry daddy." She said looking me in the eyes.

"Now go in the room." I told her and she did just that.

Having no family or friends here Chris is the only person I know here and I know it's not right that I'm messing with a married man and it don't even help that I'm having his child. The words his wife said to me keeps playing in my head.
