Chris's p.o.v

After I put the twins back to sleep I went in the room but Kandi wasn't in there so I went downstairs to see her in the living room with her phone in her hand and tears running down her face. I walked over to her and took the phone from her and it was a msg on it so I read it.

"I know that I was not the best person in the world and I really I'm sorry that I didn't get to know you better and just going on the things that Matt told me. Kandi I know Chris really loves you and you love him and Matt and I had no right to get kidnapped that day and I didn't know that Matt was for real about getting his money and that he was going to do anything to get. Anyway I know my little girl is going to have the world but her mother that's why I have to end this cause I can't do no jail time. So this the end of Destiny Goodman I love y'all and again Kandi I'm sooooooo sorry."

After reading this my mind was all over the place. This is not going to be a good Christmas this year. I kelp looking at Kandi's phone and I seen that she had some missed calls from Jasmine so I called her back.

"Hello Kandi is that you?" Jasmine asked into the phone.

"Nawl it's Chris what's going on?"

"I got a text from Destiny saying that she was sorry and to take care of her baby. Chris please tell me that this is all fake and someone is playing games."

"Fam I don't know but Kandi got a text to, I'm about to send it to."

"Okay Chris I have to go John is calling me." Jasmine said and we locked off and I looked at Kandi who still have tears running down her face.

"Baby please stop crying we don't know if it's her or not."

"That's easy for you to say." She said looking at me. I hope John calling Jasmine with so news we can use cause I can't have my baby over crying.

Kandi's p.o.v

After talking to Chris and him telling me that Jasmine had got a msg from the same number it kind of freaked me out. I just hope someone is trying to make us go crazy and if so who would do such a mean thing to a family who already last two people that's some fucked up shit. Anyway Chris and I just sat in the living room wait for something to happen or Jasmine to call back. We looked at the news and they played the same BREAKING NEWS that I seen when I was in the room and my tears started again.Now I know y'all thinking why she crying over someone who had you kidnapped? I still have a heart and if this ain't her I still want to beat the shit out of her but if it is she has a little girl who needs her. So no I'm not crying for her I'm crying cause her child is never ever get to know her. I heard the phone ring and Chris picked it up.

"Hello."

"......"

"Nawl man that's not true."

"......"

"Man we on the way." Chris said and put the phone down. "Baby go upstairs and get dress, I'm about to call mama to come keep the kids." He said and I just nodded and didn't ask any questions, cause I already knew who it was. I got ready and walked back downstairs and Chris was sitting look at the news.

The lady on the tv said: "The young lady who jumped off the bridge earlier today has been identified as Destiny Goodman and single mother of one. We haven't talked to any of the family members do to family lawyer who told them not to talk to anyone."

"Chris please tell me this is all a lie baby?" I asked him.

"I wish I could baby." He said and there was a knock on the door. Chris got up and opened the door for his mother who looked like she had been crying all day.

"Hey mama." I said hugging her.

"Hey baby, Chris y'all about to go to Jasmine's house?" She asked him.

"Yes ma and we'll be back in no time." He said and we walked out the house and got in the car. The ride there was so crazy cause we ain't say nothing to each other. We pulled up in front of Jasmine's house and got out and Chris knocked on the door and Aaron opened the door to let us in. "What's up Aaron where is Jasmine?" Chris asked him.

"She is in the living room." He said as we walked into the living room and her and John was sitting there crying and I already knew it was Destiny and sent the msg.

"What's going on Jasmine?" Chris asked her.

"Destiny jumped off the bridge." John said and I all I could do was cry. Jasmine walked over to me and hugged me and I hugged her back and we cried together. I hate that they have to go through this cause they just put their mom and dad to rest and still trying to get over it. This is not going to be a good Christmas.
