chapter 16

Chris's p.o.v.

After leaving Jasmine's house it still couldn't believe that my cousin would do some crazy shit as to kill herself and she want be here for her child but I know that Jasmine is going to love her just as she was her own. Kandi ain't been the same since the text came to the phone. Anyway we got to the house and my mom went home and the kids was sleep. I walked into Shay room and she was knocked I gave her a kiss and did the same thing to the twin. Now I know if someone would have told me that I was going to have three kids (yes Shay is my kid too) and a fine ass gal to go with it, I would have been like get the fuck out of here with that shit. I wouldn't give this life up for no one. I walked in the room and Kandi was laying on the bed with her eyes on the wall.

"Baby are you okay." I asked her.

"Yes baby I'm okay." She said and I know she was not tell the truth, but I didn't say anything. I just walked into the bathroom and made her some bath water as soon as the water was done I walked back in the room and started taking off her closet and stuff and walked her into the bathroom and helped her in the tub and washed her body for her. I can't wait to make her my wife.

"Come on baby you know can talk to me."

"Baby I know she ain't like me and I didn't do anything to her it sad that Maya has to go on with life without her mother."

"I know baby but don't stress yourself out please its all going to be okay and as for Maya she is going to know who her mother is and she is going to have all the love she wants and need." I told her. "Now come on and get out the tub." I told her giving her bathrobe to her. I love this girl so much. We walked into the room and she put on a big t-shirts and got in the bed. I got my shit and went and took a shower, did what I had to do and got out went in the room and Kandi was sleep so I just got in the bed and went to sleep to.

Kandi's p.o.v.

I heard the twins crying. I looked at the time and it was 3am, I got up without waking Chris up and walked into their room and took them downstairs and fixed them a bottle and feed them in the living room. I love this kids so much and I couldn't see my life without them. I started burping Chris Jr. when I heard a sound come from the back of the house. I got the babies and went to my room and got in the bed and tapped Chris.

"Baby its to late to be up." Chris said looking at the time.

"Baby I heard something coming from the back of the house."

"Hold on stay here." he said getting out the bed and getting his gun from the top of the closet and walked out the room. He came back with Shay in his arms and put her on the bed and was out the room again.

Chris p.o.v

I know like hell ain't nobody trying to break into my damn house. I checked the whole living room and kitchen nothing I walked to the back yard and seen to people standing in the yard. I don't know what the fuck they think this is rest in a nigga backyard day. I shot a warning shot in the air and they looked back at me. I couldn't see their face but I know for a fact that they are both males.

"Get out my damn yard." I told them.

"Bro chill it's Jay Jay."

"Nigga what the fuck you doing here and who is this?"

"This Moe big brother and I was going to call you but I seen the light on and I thought u was downstairs I knocked on the back door."

"Okay what is he doing here and y'all fucking scared the shit out of Kandi."

"My bad boss but somebody hit Moe up for all your shit and beat the shit out of him."

"Y'all come into the house and Jay Jay go upstairs and tell Kandi it was just you, while I talk to Moe brother." I said and wev walked into the living room and sat down and Jay Jay went upstairs. "So what's your name?" I asked him.

"My name is Josh."

"I'm sorry about what happened to your brother, but just know my boys are going to do everything that they can to find out who did this to Moe." I told him.

"Thanks man Moe is all I have." He said and Jay Jay came downstairs holding his eye.

"Man what happen to you?" I asked him.

"Man Kandi hit me dead in the eye." Jay Jay said and I couldn't help but laugh.

"You'll be okay bro, but tell all the boys to hit the block and find out who did this. Josh go to the hospital with your brother we got this." I told them and they nodded and walked out the door. I locked the house up and went back upstairs and Kandi was putting the twins in their bed. I took Shay in her room, after that I walked back into the room and got in the bed and pulled Kandi to me. "How's your hand baby?" I asked her trying not to laugh.

"Shut up Chris." she said laughing. We both went to sleep.

Kandi's p.o.v

I wake up with my hand in so much pain from hitting Jay Jay in his eye from walking into the room without knocking and from coming to my house at 3 in the damn morning. Anyway I walked downstairs and made some food and here Chris coming down the stairs as soon as I was done putting the food on the table.

"Good morning baby." I told him as he gave me a kiss.

"Good morning baby." he said and sat down.

"So when am I going to meet your other child?"
